don't trust offers from the sales department Bait and Switch Let’s start by saying that this dealer has been servicing my Terrain since 2010. They then sent an offer in the mail for me to trade Bait and Switch Let’s start by saying that this dealer has been servicing my Terrain since 2010. They then sent an offer in the mail for me to trade in my Terrain for $15340 “depending on condition” they knew which model I owned when they sent the offer letter. Upon bringing my car there and trying to trade it in, they only offered only $9000. The first rational is that it is not the upper model which is how they based the price (but I am a customer and they knew which car I had when they made the offer) they then said but did not put it in writing that the offer is based on an unrealistic 10,000 miles a year. And they had other excuses. However I would not waste my time responding to any offer from the sales department. By the way the service department is ok and I would recommend them for repairs. More
