Jim Curley Kia in Lakewood NJ had the exact truck i wanted at a great price but the dealership is 100 miles from my home. Very patient, extremely helpful and always fast to respond even late in to the evenings sometimes. Since everything was worked out ahead of time, I simply drove down to the dealership, checked out the new vehicle (which was in the exact condition Jimmy said it was), signed the papers and was on my way home. Everyone at Jim Curley Kia was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Its just a shame they're so far away from me and I won't be able to have them take care of my maintenance as well. EDIT - 1/30/14 - After driving the car for about a week, the brakes started making a terrible noise (new pads had been fitted and the rotors resurfaced before I bought the car). Since Jim Curley was over 100 miles from my home, and on the advice of Jimmy, I took the car to my local Kia dealership (Gateway Kia in Denville NJ). They found that the front brake pads had been installed incorrectly. They we were very nice and switched the pads around and only charged me 30 mins labor. I let Jimmy from Jim Curley know the status and the result and asked that they refund me the cost ($58). After three weeks of chasing Jim Curley (both Jimmy and a manager named John Mastro) and despite promises of a call back, i was told by John that they would not be willing to refund the $58 as the work was not performed at their dealership. I am very disappointed by this outcome. It's not about the money, $58 is hardly the end of the world. It is more about the principal of the matter. When I initially dealt with Jim Curley, I felt as though I was dealing the good, honest people. I now see though that they just wanted to make a sale and wash their hands of me. Maybe it would have been different if i had lived closer to the dealership but I was not driving over 100 miles with bad brakes in the middle of a New Jersey winter. As a result of this turn of events, I have updated my scores given above. More

After visiting half a dozen dealerships, I found myself at Jim Curley's in Lakewood. I was quickly greeted by John and Tom in a friendly and attentive manner. The two men were incredibly knowledgeable as well as incredibly patient and polite. They were able to find the right car for me which ended up being a Kia Sportage, which I am still very happy with. Though I knew the price was well worth the value, I was still apprehensive to make such a large purchase as it was not something I do often. The entire crew at the Jim Curley Dealership were very helpful, patient and understanding and made me feel very confident in my eventual decision to make the purchase. They even stayed late in a snow storm! It was the right call and I look forward to my future dealings with them. I recently had a great experience at Jim Curley KIA in Lakewood, NJ thanks to Jim Chretien (sales) & Jim Sweitzer (finance). As we all know buying a car can be one of the most stressful things you can do Lakewood, NJ thanks to Jim Chretien (sales) & Jim Sweitzer (finance). As we all know buying a car can be one of the most stressful things you can do in your life. Thanks to the two gentlemen I previously mentioned, my experience was a pleasure. I traded my 2001 Honda Odyssey for a 2011 KIA Sorento in literally the blink of an eye. Jim C. came back with a price for my trade in & we asked if he could do a little better & within 3 minutes the deal was done! No joke! It was that simple & smooth. Now here is the kicker that made this experience just that much better. Mr. Jim Curley himself came over to visit my wife & myself at Jim C's desk & thanked us for supporting his dealership. Absolutely fantastic! Didn't get any great discounts, but hey it is a new car. Boys at the Dealership were wonderful and helpful. Would've preferred to have more choices available for model I chose.
