He takes care of his customers, answers questions, returns calls promptly and keeps his customers informed about their vehicles. He is professional, polite and respectful. Always calm under pressure, he does a great job of processing paperwork and helping customers check their vehicles in and out. This dealership needs more service advisors like him! More
Could had been better.. I realize that people are not being told when will their car be service upon scheduling an appointment. At least say it will be someone time after you I realize that people are not being told when will their car be service upon scheduling an appointment. At least say it will be someone time after you bring it in and probably won't be ready until a week later just an FYI. Something I find very disturbing is that the representative calls me and says your car needs this, and that, please let me know if we can proceed with work. I have to ask in detail what exactly occur that led my car to turn on a certain light. I had service here before and of all the times I been service only one person has giving me the attention and details I needed. I also specify specific instructions on the parts being replace on my car, and it was not done. More

Its the little things. Now I have noticed a hum in my drivetrain that wasn’t there before and I’m contemplating wether I should bring it back or not. Everyone deserves an opportunity to make things right... I just don’t know if I can afford it. #JuryIsStillOut More

So I made an appointment for an oil change but after arrival, the service leader said this is a dropoff, and we cannot get to you until tomorrow (12:30 appt). Well, I was planning on waiting so was unhappy, but he mentioned that I also needed a brake fluid flush and replace, I said no, that is for around 90,000 miles per the Volt mx book. Noting that I was not happy about this, he offered me a Lfyt ride home. After getting home, I decided to check the Volt service manual again, and noticed that I was correct about the brakes, but there was a small (3) footnote for coolant and engine systems saying that it was due after 5 years or many more miles. So I called that in, and they did get done by 1pm the next day. Happy with the service, but unhappy with the Chevrolet service notifications which said I only needed an oil change and maybe something else. That is ridiculous, they are aware of my car's age and service history, why not tell us? And I should think the dealer that I bought the car from, and have had our car serviced, would know too? Appreciated the service manager applying a 10% military discount for veterans, which I discovered on an old coupon, eased the pain. However, Ellis messages should mention the difference between an appointment and just a dropoff appt, I did not see such in my message. But love my Volt, thank-you to Eric and his service team. More

Jim Ellis Service Intervals I prefer to get my car serviced at the dealer I purchased from, but it’s getting harder and harder at Jim Ellis Chevy Atl. 90 minutes for an oil chang I prefer to get my car serviced at the dealer I purchased from, but it’s getting harder and harder at Jim Ellis Chevy Atl. 90 minutes for an oil change and rotation is 3 times too long. Would make sense if it was busy but I just saw a bunch of employees standing around talking. Not a good look when everyone in the waiting room is restless and complaining, understandably. Also, whats the point of calling me 5 times prior to confirm my appointment if you’re going to act confused and grill me with questions when I show up for my service? Then Reluctantly find my appointment after finally just looking on the computer. Almost as Ive you dont want to work at all. I get its a Friday but that day, I received less then the minimum service. I couldve received cheaper faster service at PepBoys. I will not be buying my next car here if this dealer cannot scale customer service along with its growth/sales. More

The major systems were transmission, fuel, cooling, along w/oil change, and engine/cabin/air filter changes. My tires were balanced, wipers replaced, and all other components were inspected. My car runs 100% better and is like new again. Safety and peace of mind were delivered. The excellent detail & upholstery cleaning job on my 8-year old Camaro has it looking brand new again (a co-worker even asked if I traded for a new upgrade). I am thankful for the great partnership w/Jim Ellis and the staff that helps me maintain the life of my car--TK, Atlanta GA More
