Service level improving I wrote a scathing review last week because, frankly, everything about that particular experience was subpar. My car broke down twice since the initial service, within a period of ten days, once in the middle of a busy road during rush hour. The car is supposedly fixed for good at this point (I'll believe it when I see it). The jury is still out on the level of technical service. My service advisor, Robert Sigman, however, has gone above and beyond this time around, in terms of customer service. He found a very nice loaner in a short amount of time for me, helped me remove the car seat from my dead car, and is driving the car around himself to test the latest "fix." If I fail to return to Jim Ellis Chevrolet Service, it will not be the result of customer service. More

First time visiting I was pleased with the service and waiting areas. Though the Service Reps didn't readily acknowledge my presence because they were either with a cust I was pleased with the service and waiting areas. Though the Service Reps didn't readily acknowledge my presence because they were either with a customer or on the phone, the one that did help me eventually, acknowledged and said that someone would be with me shortly. Rep offered service to take me back home if I didn't wish to wait. After my oil change was complete, I noticed that unlike my former dealership in NJ (Multi/Open Road) my vehicle was not washed. I did notice the list of car wash services for a price of course. Nonetheless I'll see if this will be the best place to have my Traverse serviced again in the future. More
Overbooks Appointments Despite Insufficient Staff/Equipment Not suitable for Corvettes. Made appointment 7 days in advance. Received 2 reminders. Left car night before for 7 am appointment. Only at 830 am day of apptmt was I told couldn't even look at car for 2-4 days! On day 5, was told delayed to the following week..so 7-8 work days just to assess- not to fix. At noon, same day-# 5 (Friday)- I booked car into another dealer for Monday and car was assessed, diagnosed and parts ordered by 930 am same day. NOTE: This is a dealer management/ownership issue, not a service advisor issue. More

Non-existent communication, mediocre service I had to leave my car there for two weeks because it wasn't safe to drive and the part was on back order. While the problem with the part was not something within their control, the fact that they never once called me with updates was a big problem for me. I had to call multiple times to even get someone on the phone, and they did not initiate contact. I was also given a number for text updates, but the service advisor did not return one text (or one voicemail for that matter). My car broke down less than a week later as the result of a problem secondary to the first. The service advisor sent me the number for the Canadian Roadside Assistance rather than the U.S. Then, once again, I had to initiate every call, and it took multiple attempts to get through. Once again, I left several voicemails, all of which went unreturned. As soon as my vehicle is no longer under warranty, I will never again return there for service. More
