My engine fell on me because of a 2018 recall that I did know of and Kia did not cover any costs and made no effort to help and added more for something that was missed on the 1st quote. Appointment was at 7:30a wasn’t checked in until 7:52. Sat there for 4 hours without 1 person checking in with me or giving me an update. I finally went to ask if they had an ETA and the man I originally dealt with wasn’t there, and they other service reps seemed uninterested in trying to help. Eventually someone came over to speak to me and she was very friendly. When we went over my paperwork, there were additional recommended services they said I should complete that day. I would’ve loved to get it all taken care of, but why would you wait 4 hours to inform me vs informing me immediately after the diagnostic test? Very strange. I made an additional appointment to come back and get the rest taken care of- again, the lady that helped was super friendly in getting it scheduled. I get to my car, and it definitely wasn’t vacuumed or anything. Not a huge deal, but when you wait 4 hours and pay a premium price to get your car serviced at a dealership, you hope to at least have a quick vacuum to look forward to. More
