Hello Mr. Deegan, I am sorry that you feel the way you do. We are not here to scam anyone or waste their time. Like you had mentioned you were offered on two occasions to lease the 2012 infniti. The numbers we came up with did not work for you which is fine. At that time we had received a buy bid on your Mercedes. The bids we receive are good for 10 days. Unfortunately market conditions change on preowned vehicles as well as programs from the manufacturer. These are things that are beyond anybody’s control. It is just like stocks; one day it is worth $100 a share, and the next day it can be worth $20 a share. That is the way she goes. Like you said it had been 20 days since we had last talked. A lot can change in that period of time. Most manufacturers change their programs every month. The situation with your 2012 Mercedes is it is competing against new 2012’s that are being heavily incentivizing by Mercedes. This in turn causes your vehicle to fluctuate in value. Your vehicle is competing against a new 2012. That is why there is such a fluctuation, and why the bid on your vehicle changed. Believe me we are not happy about passing on a car deal. We pride ourselves on treating everyone fairly and honestly here. With Respect, Greg Pomish

While my reply might question the ethics (in general) of the sales management, more importantly the point of my review/potential dissatisfaction was to point out the obvious flaws involved with this particular transaction. After having purchased 36 or more vehicles in my life, never once have I felt or been treated so poorly and with questionable sales tactics. You yourself Mr. Pomish said to me, "well you had every opportunity to purchase this Infiniti the 20th of August and didn't, that's your fault and your problem." I'm not sure the caliper of clientele that come into your dealership, but my guess is that most are educated. With this comes a more well thought out process for making this otherwise large ticket purchase; more so than let’s say.............a cart full of items from Target. Yes I did take 20 days to ponder my decision but I wasn't aware by doing so (could have been told) this that your offer on my vehicle would depreciate to the tune of $2,500.00. Given my previous experience in purchasing vehicle(s), I too know that the prices do not change by $2,500.00 over the course of 20 days. Using your theory, I would question what additional incentives Infiniti was offering your dealership as a result of the 2012 "new" Infiniti celebrating its 1 year birthday sitting on your lot and now 20 days older? Hmmmmmmmmm I would not guess you like walking away from any deal, however I'm more confident now, given your reply, that you did absolutely nothing you promised to figure out if we could potentially make a deal, rather you used an apples and oranges scenario (the change in $$ of stocks) to justify your offering me $2,500.00 less for my car when your car remained the same price; interesting!
