Sold Lemon/Poor Service/Poor Value on Proposed Trade of Lemo I hate to write a bad review because I believe that every circumstance is different, but in an effort to prevent anyone from enduring what I endured, I hate to write a bad review because I believe that every circumstance is different, but in an effort to prevent anyone from enduring what I endured, here goes. In 2015, I purchased a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Crewcab truck. For the first two years, I loved it. It had 5,000'ish miles at the time of purchase because it was a demo. Otherwise, it was brand new. Two years later, I'm driving down interstate highway 44 when the transmission goes out of it. The vehicle would shift fine through third gear, but on the third-to-fourth transition, the vehicle would behave as though it were in neutral. I took it back to the dealership because it was still under warranty. Six weeks later, I finally got my truck back. There was a "stack" of 2016 Silverado's with the exact same issue. I do a lot of driving for work (drove over 1,000 miles last week). I cannot have a vehicle that is unreliable. I shopped around and various dealerships offered between $32k and $33k for my vehicle. I took it back to Jim Norton hoping to get a better deal because they sold it to me. They first offered $28k and then finally offered $29,500. I thank them and politely left. I would never recommend anyone to this dealership. When my vehicle was in the shop, I had to constantly call to get updates and had zero communication from my "service technician." The icing on top of the cake was when they offered me $3k less than other dealerships when they were the dealership who sold it to me. I would not recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this dealership. More
