Got ripped off with my lifetime engine warranty When I bought the vehicle they told me my engine had a lifetime warranty if I did all my oil changes at the dealership so I did. I asked one of the se When I bought the vehicle they told me my engine had a lifetime warranty if I did all my oil changes at the dealership so I did. I asked one of the service advisors what's the grace period between oil changes. He told me as long as it doesn't exceed 7,000 miles. My truck broke down a lifter on #7 cylinder stopped working. Service advisor Lee Boyse told me I'll get a tow truck and get your truck to our shop then he said your lifetime warranty is no good unless we have to change out the entire engine. That is not what they tell you at the time of purchase. He said I'd have to pay over 4,000 dollars to get my truck fixed. That is not right. This dealer does not honor their commitment and leave you hanging high and dry when you need them the most. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone and please if they offer you lifetime warranty for your engine ask what exactly does it cover and get them to put it in writing cause they are so not trustworthy. More
