It all begins with the salesperson. Even down to crunching the numbers with the sales manager, if you believe the salesperson is "working for you" to ensure the best shopping experience and ultimate crunching the numbers with the sales manager, if you believe the salesperson is "working for you" to ensure the best shopping experience and ultimately best possible deal because he sees beyond the immediate sale (i.e. a potential REPEAT customer), then the customer wins too. Before going to Nissan, I owned a Chevy Cobalt LTZ. I hated my car. It was just too small. I wanted something reliable, so I called a friend of mine and he suggested an Altima or a Maxima. I tried the Ford dealership first and hated their service, their service made me not want to buy from them. So next stop was the Nissan dealership. I got immediate service which was excellent, i got information about the car and test drove it. I left the dealership and looked online. USAA offered a price thousands of dollars less than what they were attempting to sell it for. Nissan matched USAA's price and got the color of the car I wanted. I'm very pleased and will recommend the dealership to anyone looking for a new car. More
