This is the worse place I've ever experienced! !. I had my corvette serviced there and the part they replaced was still under warranty , but yet they insisted it wasn't and was going to charge me a !. I had my corvette serviced there and the part they replaced was still under warranty , but yet they insisted it wasn't and was going to charge me another $1500.00 to get another part. it took 3 months to get my car back the 1st time. The Service manager is disrespectful and looks to take advantage of the Elderly folks. This place is a total scam and not sure how they are still in business.. What a joke. So, I called GM and took my car to another GM deal ship and WOW it just so happens the part is under warranty and they will expedite it from somewhere in the US.. I feel sorry for anyone who buys a car from here or has a car serviced by this place. The customer service and customer experience is HORRIBLE. This will be reported to the BBB and all news stations More
This whole dealership is xxxx! ZERO stars! They have had my 2018 Silverado for over 2 months now. My truck needs a new transmission. They can not find one to put in it, not even fr ZERO stars! They have had my 2018 Silverado for over 2 months now. My truck needs a new transmission. They can not find one to put in it, not even from a wrecked truck that could be parted out. I just find that hard to believe that there are no other silverados out there that can give a transmission. The will not give me a loaner car. They tell me that they used to have 36 loaner cars, but are now down to 4 and those 4 have been out for months. When i said Mr. Trenary owns several dealerships, none of his dealerships have a loaner car?? They simply told me no. I told them to give me the courtesy or a used car then. "Well that's not in the loaner system." No matter how much i call, stop in to visit, and even curse at them at this point, they refuse to do anything for me. They will not even answer me when i say "what am i supposed to do? how do i get to work? how do i get my prescriptions? How do i get my kids to sports? What do other people do?" They just like to use the word "unfortunate" "It's an Unfortunate situation" "You will have to pay for a rental out of your own pocket" This whole situation is UNACCEPTABLE! More
Do not go to this dealership, they service department broke the socket to my right signal light and tried to blame me for breaking it and I have no dents or damage to the front of my car or my front ligh broke the socket to my right signal light and tried to blame me for breaking it and I have no dents or damage to the front of my car or my front light, I’m getting ready to sue them for my damages on my brand new car that’s still under warranty, they broke my kite and refuse to fix it More
Worst dealership I've ever dealt with. They sold me a car six months ago and I still haven't received my title. I've tried and tried but they won't help me at all. Every time they tell me "Oh it'll be coming six months ago and I still haven't received my title. I've tried and tried but they won't help me at all. Every time they tell me "Oh it'll be coming next week" or "It was sent to the wrong address". On top of that they have the worst attitude and service even though it's their fault I can't register my car. Don't come here they're a bunch of liars and scammers with terrible attitude and absolutely zero customer service, especially Tony, Blake, and Holly. They're a buy here pay here dealership a fancy showroom honestly go somewhere for a car. More
This place is outstanding! I have dealt with them for 5 new car, and one CPO purchases as well as service. The sales and service has continued to get better and better. In these crazy times where dealershi new car, and one CPO purchases as well as service. The sales and service has continued to get better and better. In these crazy times where dealerships and rip off artists like carvana and carmax are literally gouging people, Jim Trenary shines! They DO NOT mark up vehicles, all prices are fair. They honor all rebates and offers. Kyle Trenary truly believes in customer service which reflects through the store. On my latest visit to purchase another car I noticed the new truck I drove there had a leak. I went to service to make an appointment and they took me in immediately! Justin in service had it diagnosed and repaired the same day! That is unheard of these days. Dennis in sales is another true professional. He is no nonsense and does what it takes to make the whole experience great. Tom in finance is a pleasure to deal with as well. This dealership is a prime example for others to mimic. When I read bad reviews from higher mileage vehicles purchased OUT of warranty with declined coverage, it blows my mind. Nobody takes responsibility for their own actions. It's important to protect any investment and they offer the best pricing on that as well. GREAT JOB GUYS! Customer for life! More
Bought a new 2019 Colorado. Had the radio/screen replaced twice. Took to a new dealer since I moved out of state for AC leak. The hose was never connected or disconnected during service at O’Fallo replaced twice. Took to a new dealer since I moved out of state for AC leak. The hose was never connected or disconnected during service at O’Fallon location. Both sides of floor have been leaking for who knows how long and they claim it wasn’t their fault. Horrible customer service. More
I had popped into Jim Trenary Ford to have the service department balance the wheels on my truck. I was expecting to have to make an appointment, but that was not the case. Instead, the Service Advisor, J department balance the wheels on my truck. I was expecting to have to make an appointment, but that was not the case. Instead, the Service Advisor, Jerry K, set the service order up, and I got the service completed within a short time. Jerry was pleasant, informative, and personable. The problem was resolved the first time, on time. Thank you, Jerry and Jim Trenary Ford, for the enjoyable experience. Yes, it is possible to have a pleasant experience when dealing with car maintenance. Jerry and the service department proved that to me. I will be back for future service and when the time comes to purchase another vehicle. More
We purchased a used 2016 Silverado Diesel Truck on July 3, 2021. We did not purchase the almost $800.00 warranty. A 2016 diesel with under 62,000 miles is just getting broke in, right! 4 days later the c 3, 2021. We did not purchase the almost $800.00 warranty. A 2016 diesel with under 62,000 miles is just getting broke in, right! 4 days later the check engine light came on. We took it to a Chevrolet dealership. We had 2 blown head gaskets, radiator needed replacing, and a new turbo charger. Cost $14,000 for repairs. They suggested we contact Jim Trenary dealership. I contacted our salesman. He said that Jim Silverman wanted to know what if anything Chevrolet was going to do as far as helping us. Chevrolet agreed to pay $10,000. The dealership doing the repairs agreed to charge us only $2,000 more. I talked to Jim Silverman, he said they will not help in paying for the repairs. That is why they offer the extended warranty. I asked if they would help in some way with the repair bill. Again I was told no. I sent the Jim Trenary dealership a certified letter stating this request and a copy of the repair order on August 4, 2021. I also asked them to respond to my letter. To date I have not received anything from them. When you pay $50,000 for a vehicle you expect it to last more than 4 days!! More
Where to start? Talk about a bad joke start to finish. Customer service? Non-existent. They gave me the run around time and time again when I began having engine and fuel injection issues on my 2018 Malib Customer service? Non-existent. They gave me the run around time and time again when I began having engine and fuel injection issues on my 2018 Malibu I had bought brand new. They will try to nickel and dime you on anything they can when doing warranty work. Don’t expect Jim Trenary to actually try and help when it comes to dealing with GM and definitely don’t expect GM to back up their car, as they “must back each individually owned dealers work”. Dealing with GM and Jim Trenary for almost 2 months now on the same engine issue and they continue to blame one another back and forth but have no interest in getting me in a reliable vehicle. When things go south for you, good luck trying to get ahold of AJ the service manager, it is obvious he hides behind his service advisors and the tinted glass office he sits in all day. Bottom line do not waste your time or money doing business with Jim Trenary or on a new Chevy. Nightmare of an experience all around with Jim Trenary and GM. PS don’t buy a 2018 Chevy Malibu unless you want fouled pistons (went thru 3 sets in 36k miles), cracked engine pistons & cylinder head (happened twice before they decided to replace engine), and a fuel system that Jim Trenary and Chevy admits gets carbon build up and must be flushed out every 15k miles (I must have missed that part in my owners manual).
