I came in for an oil change and tire rotation today. The dealership got me in and out quickly. The service department people were all very helpful. I will be back for service work in the future. 1. Ethan was not upfront and truthful. He obviously lied to me several times. The other sales representatives and staff very helpful and friendly. 2. I was told on the phone it would take a few hours for to me several times. The other sales representatives and staff very helpful and friendly. 2. I was told on the phone it would take a few hours for the airbag recall to be completed and requested a ride home/back. 3. Asked Ethan how long for the service he told me 30 minutes if no problems. I stated I could wait 30 minutes iif he can check to make sure they were no issues and can get started . He drive the car back and said they were working on my van. Ethan stated then it would be 30 minutes to 1 hour. I said ok. 4. After one hour at 1 pm I asked Ethan if they were done with my van. ETHAN told me in 10 more minutes. HE OBVIOUSLY LIED to me I realized later! ETHAN did not go back and check either the mechanic. He didn’t walk back or call him. 5. At 130 Ethan was not at the desk. I could see my van with the brake lights on and in the middle of garage floor. While waiting for Ethan to return to service desk I counted 12 mechanics walking out of a door behind the service desk and one carrying a large chick fil a soft drink carry out cup. 6. I adjed the service representative that was working next to Ethan’s desk if he could check in my van and told him it was for recall to air bags and told him my car breaks had been in, but now I could not see van/breaks. He told me they always have breaks on. 7. The representative returned and told me 25 minutes. This was at 135. Obviously- my van was not being serviced since noon. And Ethan’s update at 1 pm when asked and told 10 minutes was no truthful. 8. At 2 pm I was told that my vehicle was ready. I did not complain or make a comment of the lack of truthful communication from Ethan to myself. 9. While backing out of parking spot I noticed D’s ever al dashboard lights lit up for brake warnings, which was not present when dropping off. I went in and Ethan drove my car back in to have them look at it. 10. Now I was frustrated. The 30 minute job was 2 hours and now another issue to wait and I didn’t have my laptop with me to work since I was told initially 30 minutes. 11. While the mechanic was checking out car Ethan offered a free oil change and I said I will take it now since it is due and already scheduled at another location next week. But, want a ride home and not wait 12. Driver was on a 1 hour lunch break and Ethan and co-worker offered to take me home. 13. I asked co-worker if I could be dropped off at Cinci de Mayo on airport highway . Yellow building in front of Menards and by Kriger. Told him it is very fast service and will be finished eating in 30 minutes. Restaurant is 2.7 miles and 9 minutes away. 14. Ethan called me at 302 to tell me my car was ready. He told me he or his co-worker will br on their way to pick me up. 15. I immediately paid my bill and went outside to wait for van. I waited 47 minutes in the sun and sweating looking at airport highway at the intersection looking for the pick up van. 16. I contacted Honda to find out where the driver was. He pulled up at 350. 17. Driver was very nice. I told him that I know Honda is busy. But, very frustrated over poor communication skills. He told me he was on 1 hour lunch break and had 2 other pick ups before me. I wasn’t upset with him. I told him I should have been told 2 more people are ahead of you and updated. 18. I told Ethan outside at my car that he told me that he or another co-worker was on their way to pick me up. And I waited 59 minutes outside in the sun. He then LIED to me saying he told me he would text me when the DRIVER was on his way. I told him NO YOU DIDNT. He then told me yes he did and he tells everyone that.. LYING to me AGAIN. Not taking accountability and insisting he told me something he did not. I don’t make false accusations. The driver never texted me as he claims he told me .A simple I am sorry, I was very busy, should have updated you that 2 people are ahead of you. He didn’t even know that or he would have told me instead of day More
I am a repeat customer of Ray. I will never not come back to Jim White Honda. They treat us well. I never feel taken advantage of. I feel like family. They said the estimated wait time for my oil change/tire rotation would have been about an hour and they were done in roughly 30 mins. Found Freon leaking and got me scheduled quickly, next day for my ac to rotation would have been about an hour and they were done in roughly 30 mins.
