I was roadtripping through the area in my 2016 Honda CR-V when it threw a service light - the blinking D - which indicated the need for an emergency repair. I arrived at the service department when it opene when it threw a service light - the blinking D - which indicated the need for an emergency repair. I arrived at the service department when it opened, and was greeted by David Moss. He handled the processing of my car with courtesy and professionalism. He was upfront with me about the costs that were going to be involved, and gave a thorough explanation of my invoice before sending me to billing. I’m not going to complain about pricing: between emergency, necessary, immediate, out-of-town, and dealer - it was going to be what it was going to be. I will say though - that once I got home and had time to scrutinize the invoice … it all checked out as within a reasonable range for the services provided. Most important, my car was (and is) again running great, and I got home safely. David also took the time to point out and correct some shoddy work that my “home” dealer had done. I stayed on site for the couple of hours that the service required. The waiting area is comfortable, and the coffee was not bad at all. (My only suggestion would be for the dealership to add some electrical outlets/charging ports for customer technology.) There is a courtesy shuttle, and the driver made frequent check-ins to see if anyone wanted to go anywhere. The restroom was spotless. About a dozen local customers came and went while I was there: I did not hear any grumbling or witness any antagonism in terms of how they felt about the dealership; in fact, it seemed to be that they had a great degree of trust in the service department. If I lived in the area and owned a Honda, I would use Jim White Honda without reservation. More
