However, the final contract was drastically different and contained multiple undisclosed issues: Inflated Price: Instead of reducing the price, my $2,000 down payment was effectively added to the car's price, which was listed as $11,000 on the contract, not the original $7,100 or 5,100 I was expecting. Loan Terms: The loan was written for 6 years at $300/month, totaling $21,600 – nearly four times my expected loan amount of $5,100. The APR was shockingly increased to 14.99%, despite prior discussions of 3-6%. Undisclosed Fees/Items: An expensive unwanted service warranty was added he claimed, despite my explicit refusal.
