Worth the time and money to buy your Nissan elsewhere. Bought a 2026 Pathfinder Platinum from Machens. Alex was a wonderful salesman and he did a dealer trade for the car we wanted. After that everything Bought a 2026 Pathfinder Platinum from Machens. Alex was a wonderful salesman and he did a dealer trade for the car we wanted. After that everything went south. The car was advertised on Machens website with a $4200.00 dealer discount. When they handed me an offer sheet the dealer discount was$2500.00. After we straightened that out and got the car bought I washed it three days later and found a couple tiny dents and scratches on the liftgate. I called Alex and asked him what to do about it. He said he would check but then I didn’t hear from him for several days so I just took the car in to the dealership. Alex took it over to the body shop and they did a pointless dent repair procedure on it. Got the dents out perfectly, but the scratches remained. I told him that was not good enough. He said they would fix the paint at a discount but they wouldn’t just make it right. I called the General manager Jason and told him what was going on and he took my phone number and said he would get to the bottom of it. Never heard from him again, although he did give my number to their internet sales department and they started bombarding me with texts. I went one step further and called Nissan. They assigned a case agent and said they would investigate. Never heard back from them either. I recognize that I didn’t see these scratches before we left the dealership, but I really feel like if you spend over fifty five grand on a vehicle you should be able to expect a flawless finish. Guess they disagree. More
