They're not interested in taking care of the customer. Just interested in making the sale, and making the most money as possible. I made the mistake of not leaving when the negotiation turned into a be Just interested in making the sale, and making the most money as possible. My family has purchasedcars from several of the Machens lots in town witha few issues but this was the worst experience ever. We will not come back to any of the lots again. The buying experience last from August 1st 23 till November of 23. My sister had 1 car picked out, spoke to the salesman via text, drove about 1.5 hours when she arrived a different car was shown her because they couldn't get her financed in the one she wanted. So we went with the 2020 explorer which would not stay running once arrived home. This car was returned and with the shop for over 6 weeks, basically thought ghey had fixed it but didn't several times. Decided they didn't know what was wrong with it so said she needed to trade it in, they would make the numbers work. Right, not only did this company have a horrible time following through on what they said they were going to do their commication to us was terrible. After taking a $11,000 hit on the trafe in she paid their fees and salesman costs twice and the payment went up another $100/ mth. That's not making the numbers work in my opinion. At the end of it all my sister felt forced into this car which has hardly any features the 2020 limited edition had, not even auto start. Worst experience ever, they don't even seem to care. By ghe way they put that 2020 explorer back on the lot, so be careful. More
I did a lot of research for what I wanted to buy, so the car salesman had it extremely easy. I knew everything about the car, even the Carfax thanks to Cars.com. Financing took a very long time, even though I didn't have a trade in and was paying a pretty large down payment. It didn't seem very long though. The Finance manager was a hoot! Between the salesman Christian and the Finance manager Michael, we felt like we'd known them for ages. More
Issue 1: The had me sign a lease for a new vehicle with 371 miles on it and listed it at 73 miles. Issue 2: It took 3 weeks for them to pay me for my trade-in and 11 phone calls. Issue 3: As a collage grade within the timeframe allowed; 97 days later I have not seen the $500.00 check that they promises within 7 days. Issue 4: Although many of the dealers are just F.O.S., there are a few that are honest which was not one of them that I bought from. Issue 5: I have purchased a vehicle in the past from the same dealership assuming that the experience was a one-time thing only to find out it is a second even worse experience!g Issue 6: This site does not list the current employees so I cannot list who s**ks and who is worth working with.
