We purchased a new Nissan NV Passenger Van from this dealership several months ago. I inquired on a vehicle through an internet submission. Zach followed up with me within 1 day. We set an appointment and he was very prepared to show me the vehicle and provide any answers. A highlight of the experience was his willingness to introduce me to managers at the store. Nothing irritates me more than having to work through a sales person who has no influence on negotiations. He immediately connected me with the manager and our process was easy. They spent time understanding what was important to me and matching the criteria ranging from vehicle features to price. Zach and the managers were able to balance demonstrating that they wanted to sell me a vehicle without being overwhelmingly pushy. Bottom line, this store get the first chance to sell me my next vehicle because they earned it. More

When my wife and I decided to buy a new SUV, we researched the web and narrowed our selection to Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, and Nissan Rogue. Our plan was to road test each vehicle, c researched the web and narrowed our selection to Honda CRV, Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester, and Nissan Rogue. Our plan was to road test each vehicle, continue our research and make a decision. Unfortunately for the rest, we drove the Rogue first because the dealership was the closest to us. Didn't take us long to determine that the ride was smooth and quiet, not what we really expected from an SUV, having previously owned several. Following up with a drive of the Toyota and the Subaru on the same day, we quickly ranked the Rogue at the top of our standings. Several days later we drove the CRV in a nearby city where my step-son is one of the sales managers. The CRV ranked 2nd, but we were offered a pretty good price. I then contacted James Williams and asked him for a price quote on the Rogue with packages we'd selected as add-ons. He got back pretty quickly with a full quote, delivered, without the benefit of knowing what pricing he might be fighting with my step-son's dealership (which also gave us a "blind" quote on a Rogue at their sister dealership). The deal offered by James and Machens topped out our preference for the Rogue, so I accepted the deal with James and asked him to get us the vehicle. We have never been happier with a vehicle purchase than we are with our new Rogue (even though my wife does still love her 2002 Honda Accord which she'll drive until the wheels fall off!) Every time we drive it, we fall more in love with it's ride and appointments. More

We had driven 120 miles to look at the car as none were available in the Kansas City area. They trusted us and our description of our trade in which was at home in Kansas City area and did not hesitate to make a more than fair offer for it as well as a more than fair discount price for the new car. As a woman, I usually feel like a salesman talks down to me and that he tries to cheat me. Not this time!!! Even though this was our very first visit to Machens, we were treated like return customers. They took us seriously from the get go and made it a very comfortable experience. WE WILL NOT HESITATE TO DRIVE THE 120 MILES AGAIN WHEN CAR SHOPPING NEXT TIME. More
