We purchased our MDX in 2003 after also considering the Lexus SUV. To be honest, we knew the Lexus brand and reputation and had confidence in it. We were not so certain of Acura, but we ultimately liked Lexus SUV. To be honest, we knew the Lexus brand and reputation and had confidence in it. We were not so certain of Acura, but we ultimately liked the MDX and many of it's features better. We ulitmately purchased our MDX at John Eagle Acura at what was a fair market price. Since then, we have had terrific experience over the years and attribute a great deal of that to our service tech, Eric Younger. He's great. He has checked out service issues for us that ended up being covered by our extended warranty. He has had a loaner car available on a couple occasions when the repair merited it. He is always business-like and respectful, a true professional. Based on our experience, we hope our next purchase can be from John Eagle and it is a hybrid SUV so we can drive it feeling our comfort is not at the expense of our environment More
I purchased a used acura from another acura dealer and had original warranty, certified warranty, and paid for the extended coverage. When I was shopping John Eagle sales team said several different time had original warranty, certified warranty, and paid for the extended coverage. When I was shopping John Eagle sales team said several different times that the certified warranty was the same as the original. After several months of very good service at this dealer my original warranty expired. The next time I needed service I called and made an appointment and not until I came in did Alan in service tell me that it would cost me $125 just to look at my car. He said that the certified warranty was "Very different" from the original. My service (for an engine rattle) was likely to not be covered and I would have to pay for that in addition to the $125 fee. I asked what the difference in the two warranties was and he could not tell me. We walked together to the sales department and they could not tell us, Alan asked the receptionist at the front of the lobby for any documentation on the certified warranty and she said there was none, we walked to the finance department and they could not tell or show us anything. Short story is I left MAD, I went to another dealer and they seemed to think I was crazy when I asked about a fee just to look at the car, they found bad engine mounts and replaced them, fully covered, no charge to me. Get your story straight and don’t spring bogus charges on your once loyal customers. I will never return here again. More

John Eagle commericals was the reason I went to them .I arrived on a Saturday and was confronted by a real nice saleman. I then was introduced to another saleman. It was horrible. He started to do his hust arrived on a Saturday and was confronted by a real nice saleman. I then was introduced to another saleman. It was horrible. He started to do his hustle on me about his other business that he does on the side. I was furious. He gave horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE. I then called on Moday morning and spoke with Moe the manager and informed him that I wanted another saleman. But I was not heard, Moe did not listen to my concerns and he kept me with this very un-professional saleman. Basically he was looking out for his self. He informed me that he needed this information for this and that. And it turned out to be a lie. He ran my son's credit and he was not even presence. This was one of the lies he told me. He said that I had to prove why I needed a second car. Then told me that I was approved because of my son. I informed him that my son was not applying for a loan. I thought this was against the law. I will look into this more to see if I can file some sort of charges against him or the dealer ship, for this. More
Sales person was short with me, and it made me feel like he had better things to do than help me with a purchase. When confronted about it, he just said, he would no longer sell me a car since neither of u he had better things to do than help me with a purchase. When confronted about it, he just said, he would no longer sell me a car since neither of us would be happy. This is of course, after I already told him althought I was going to go with a different dealership (that was more responsive to me), and that if things fell through perhaps we could still do business. Probably the worst experience I've had dealing with a dealership. More

I will not recommend this dealer for service to anyone. I will not recommend this dealer for service to anyone. After I drove over 45 miles to take my Acura for service and for a warranty issue, which I ended up paying over $500, they did not put my front bumper right and cracked the base of a headlamp. When I went back to show them what happened, the service manager looked at the issues and started blaming me for it and screaming that I was setting him up for that. I experienced the most unprofessional and low customer service ever. There are no words to describe the way a service manager conducted his business and approached a client. I sincerely hope that no one goes through what I went through at that dealership. It is very sad. More
MY EXPERIENCE WITH JOHN EAGLE ACURA WAS GOOD. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE ADD-ON INSURANCE (DISABILITY, HEALTH AND WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE) THAT IS PACKAGED INTO "SPECIAL" INTEREST RATES. I had the absolute WORST experience during and after purchasing a car from John Eagle Acura in Houston, TX. From the incompetent salesman to the absolutely horrible treatment from their finance departm purchasing a car from John Eagle Acura in Houston, TX. From the incompetent salesman to the absolutely horrible treatment from their finance department the experience is one I would never wish on anyone. The salesman was completely inept. He didn't have to do any real work or selling. I came in having done my research - I knew all the specs, had already taken a test drive, didn't need any kind of pitch and had virtually no questions. I guess I threw him off his game because he never asked for my ID or insurance card. They sold me a car without having verified who I was! I could have been anyone - I could have been committing identify fraud for all they knew. He realized his mistake hours later but they had closed and it was late. Since I driving back home (out of state) the next morning it was going to be days before I could fax him all my info. That ended up being lucky for me because once I got home and had time to pour over all the contracts and analyze the numbers I had several changes/refunds I wanted issued. That is when it got really ugly. The salesman actually threatened me over the phone because I hadn't faxed my documents (3 business days later) and I'm sure he was in big trouble over it. I'm guessing they can't sell a loan without those documents so they were sitting on a $27k loan they couldn't do anything with. The finance guy never returned my calls or emails, he was ivasive and down right rude. Through everything I always maintained my level of professionalism but I was firm about what I wanted. I am still fighting with them over an issue with my warranty. It has been elevated to the finance manager and I guess because I'm a female he has treated me like I'm an idiot. He was condescending and rude but I will not be deterred. I will fly back to TX to argue with them to clear the matter up if need be. Please, whatever you do - DO NOT purchase your next vehicle from these people. They are the epitome of slimy car salesmen. More
