Excellent service from the Service Department! ! We had a travel emergency, oil pressure fail light turned ON. We were able to GOOGLE search for a CJDR dealer and were able to drive there. Bill ! Bill Perry understood the emergency, and was able to slot us into the service schedule. Tech Mr. Garcia-Alcantar found the problem, the oil pressure sensor blew out and is leaking oil. Super good technician 👏👏 . So, sensor replaced, oil and filter change done, checked sump for metallic particles, and a complete vehicle inspection done. All this done in two hours on their busy schedule. Cost? Much less than I expected, worth every penny for peace of mind. Back on the road, 6 hour trip to home, the Jeep performed flawlessly. Shall definitely visit Hiester CJDR again as needed, they are located an hour North of our kids. Very good to have a backup plan. Thank you to the team at Hiester CJDR. - Mark S. More
Nice service advisor, however, the quality of service is not good. Went in for an oil change and brake line flush. When I picked up my car when it was completed, my glove box was on the floor of the passeng not good. Went in for an oil change and brake line flush. When I picked up my car when it was completed, my glove box was on the floor of the passenger seat had to go back into the dealership and ask them to put it back in.Makes me wonder what other items they forgot to put back when they change my oil and flush my brakes. The dealership has always serviced my vehicle with utmost professionalism. I drive somewhat further away to come to this dealership instead using one that is closer - however, it is worth the drive. Prologue: My overall experience with this Jeep Dealership was unsatisfactory. Although the Customer Service people were very courteous, polite and helpful, the mechanic service left much to be de Dealership was unsatisfactory. I brought my Jeep Commander to your dealership on the morning of Saturday, November 9th because the engine light was on. I was anticipating a quick assessment and solution to the problem. Bill told me that a text would be sent to me once the problem was assessed. When I finally received the text, I was told that the hose to the radiator was broken and that I needed a new pump, which they would have to order. This meant that I would have to leave my vehicle there until Monday, November 11, when the pump would arrive. I was also given a list of several upcharges that would have added about $2,000 to my cost. Since I was already looking at a cost of about $2,000, I said no to fixing those additional issues. When I called back on Monday, I was told that they had also ordered a gasket, which would not arrive until Tuesday. Nobody ever called me back on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to let me know what was going on. (It was always me who had to call and try to track things down). Finally, I called on Friday to find out if my vehicle was fixed. I paid over $2,000 for the work done and for a new pump, gasket and having the water system flushed out. After all of this, as I was driving home, I noticed that my hood was not completely shut. Once home, I needed to address this issue with a pair of pliers as something was stuck in the spring! And to top all this off, my oil light came on again! The whole reason that I took my vehicle to the dealership rather than to my regular mechanic was because I thought I’d get a more thorough job done, but I must say, that was not the case. I feel that I was charged top dollar for a job that was not very well done, and which ended up costing me a lot of time and money More
