more of a computer repair than service! I would prefer to give 0 stars!! Bought a 13 Avenger. It has had problems since 4,000 miles and now it's at 19,000! It has many issues I believe to be I would prefer to give 0 stars!! Bought a 13 Avenger. It has had problems since 4,000 miles and now it's at 19,000! It has many issues I believe to be transmission and/or computer related, one being it would not go above 25mph and the RPM's just pegged everytime you gave it gas, it's done this twice recently. Once it's shut off and turned back on it will be OK. The speedometer will also (sometimes) say you are going 120mph while sitting at a stop light. The 2 bigger issues are intermittent, which is a part of the problem. The other driveabilty issues are always there. The light has not come on because of any of the issues. I have been told all 3 times that 'while there may be an issue with the car, we can't fix it if a light doesn't comes on to tell us what's wrong with it' UNACCEPTABLE! Also got the 'are you sure you didn't have the shifter all the way down in the smack shift'. Wonder when that was the first question of a man? I even took a picture and a video of the speedometer acting up and that I was NOT going 120mph. Didn't matter, unless it does it for them they REFUSE to fix it. Since it's obvious by now they expect to see a light with the issues it's having, the 3rd visit I told them to add the problem with the light not coming on to the repair order. With the look of disgust I received I guess Fred thought I was kidding! So of course they come back with... could not duplicate the problem...SUPRISE! I left, far from happy, huh Fred! They test drove it 7 miles and said the computer didn't show anything. I can tell all the time. Why do you need a computer to tell you that there's a hesitation, that's something you feel! The rest of the driveabilty problems are also noticed by watching the rpm's. Called Chrysler Customer Care and explained my issue INCLUDING THE NO LIGHT. I was told to take it back to the dealer, if they need time to look at it the warranty was in full effect so a rental shouldn't be a problem and then call them back when I got it there. Then they gave me a case #. So I drive the 40 miles there and tell George what I was told and once again I get.... 'is the light on?' 'Are your sure you didn't have the shifter all the way down in the smack shifter?' NOW I'M FURIOUS! "We would like to help but without a light'.... blahh blahhh. Called customer care while standing there and she reads the notes and says, well we need a light on to do anything!!!! WAY PAST UNACCEPTABLE!! You say it's recorded, go pull the recording of the first call! I even asked her why the other lady said to drive it there, she knew the light wasn't coming on! At that point I'm even more furious! Then the best statement of all 'well, unfortunately things may need to get worse before we can fix it'. REALLY?!? After paying as much as you do when buying a new car and the extra warranty on top of that, there was already something wrong with it at 4,000 miles, and still at 19,000 miles the original problems still exist because you can't fix them and now your telling me it has to get worse!! And so.... Once again, I left and not happy, huh George!!! But I'm one that learns from my mistakes so I promise to NEVER by a Chrysler product, NEVER buy a vehicle at Tri County, NEVER refer a family or friend there, AND will NEVER deal with their computer department again. Oh wait sorry, I meant service. I also promise to voice my opinion to even strangers I hear say there are going there More
Better Off Letting The Three Stooges Service Your Vehicle With a wallet $600 lighter and a vehicle that (still) was not fixed, I can honestly say if you have a vehicle that you stay well clear of these people With a wallet $600 lighter and a vehicle that (still) was not fixed, I can honestly say if you have a vehicle that you stay well clear of these people. I am so utterly disgusted with the total incompetence of this company that I don't have time or words to list all the reasons why you should avoid doing business with these people. My advice (if you want your vehicle repaired by someone who knows what they are doing) is STAY AWAY FROM THESES PEOPLE Do a s you wish and if you have money to burn (and still have a non working vehicle) then by all means pay them a visit the next time you need your vehicle serviced. You have been warned - The level of incompetence is absolutely astounding! More
VALUE VILLE from Tri-county charged me for various maintenance fees that were never discussed "602$" to be exact, falsely advertised the entire price of the vehicle to me, I'm 18, without a parent or maintenance fees that were never discussed "602$" to be exact, falsely advertised the entire price of the vehicle to me, I'm 18, without a parent or support and trying my hardest to start off my credit on a good foot, these two guys including TONY TAYLOR and his manager JOSH took advantage of me and they will get you just like they got me, they told me I was approved by a big bank had me sign the paper swiftly and insured me that the price was costly and efficient for my low income budget. When entering the office to try and comply with them and kindly offer the car back without hassle, they told me they were going to call the police on me and charge me for a Tow bill and they still have my down payment. IF your thinking of doing business with these guys, PLEASE for heed this warning, DONT!!!! FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR VALUBLE TIME and YOUR MONEY. They will lie and take every penny they can get from you, if you don't believe me, search their name and the proof is in all the other tri-county reviews. I won't stop until ive got my money in my hand. More
Recently returned to Tri County to have a part replaced on the tail gate of our van. Besides a mix-up with the service department as to what was being done, the repair was completed in a timely fashion. My on the tail gate of our van. Besides a mix-up with the service department as to what was being done, the repair was completed in a timely fashion. My husband and I were both satisfied with the end result. Thanks to Mike Smith for getting the part ordered and setting up the appointment for the repair. Thanks again! More
We went to this dealership because of the information we found on the internet. We found a Dodge Van on Tri County's website that we were interested in because of the price and description. When we got ther found on the internet. We found a Dodge Van on Tri County's website that we were interested in because of the price and description. When we got there, we were greeted by Mike Smith. He pulled the van out for us to take a test drive. We were very pleased with the test drive, so we decided to buy the van. That is when the run around started. We had printouts of the payoff on our vehicle, a true car report on the van and the trade in value of our car. It took nearly 2 hours on a Friday night to get the deal finalized. After going back and forth several times to the finance manager, we were finally able to get a payment that we could afford. The lady that did the paperwork and financing, was a very fast talker. She explained the paperwork to help the dealership not the customer. If the finance manager had given us what we were told they were giving us, our van payment would have been a little bit lower. You know if you tell the truth in the beginning, you don't need hours the cover up the dishonesty. When we got home and looked through the papers we were given, we found several discrepancy that was misrepresented. #1. We were told that our trade in would be $12,000.00. Instead they only allowed us $10,000.00. #2. The website advertised one price but we were charged a higher price. #3. The tailgate of the van has a huge crack in it. We call the dealership the next day to let them know it was damaged and we also took it to the dealership for them to look at. We were told it was not a covered damage but was referred to a body shop somewhere in Newark. It has been two and a half weeks and we have not heard from anyone. One note: IT WAS DARK WHEN WE BOUGHT THE VAN AND WE COULD NOT SEE THE DAMAGE AT NIGHT!! We think the dealership might have been aware of the damage and that is why they pushed so hard to get rid of the van that night. If we had been aware of the damage, we would have selected another vehicle. More
I took my vehicle to Chrysler for an oil change only to come back and find a huge dent and long scratch on the passenger side of my car. I bought this vehicle and 4 previous vehicles from them and take my come back and find a huge dent and long scratch on the passenger side of my car. I bought this vehicle and 4 previous vehicles from them and take my Jeep to them for the oil changes as it is covered under warranty there and I want to make sure the oil changes are documented. Not only are they refusing to help me with the repair of my vehicle they basically are treating me as though I damaged the car and then brought it in. He said that maybe I didn't notice the massive dent on the front of my car before???? REALLY? I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership or take a care there for anything again. Crappy way to handle a good customer Chrysler. They are also stating that they don't have security cameras pointed at the customer parking, they are only pointed at the used car lot and in the back....again.....REALLY? You have a security system to monitor the back of the lot and the used cars but nothing on the brand new vehicles in the front? Sounds fishy to me, you will be hearing from the Heath Police and my attorney. More

My wife and I went to Tri County Chrysler to buy a 2013 T&C Van.We called ahead to make sure they had some in stock. Our salesman was Matt and he did a good job in presenting the 2 vans in stock. The first v T&C Van.We called ahead to make sure they had some in stock. Our salesman was Matt and he did a good job in presenting the 2 vans in stock. The first van he pulled from the lot did not have enough gas in it to drive around the block. We decided to test drive the other 2013 van on lot. After test drive I wanted to talk price. Matt came out with a price of $$. Then I asked him about the ad in the newspaper offering 6 months free gas. He said that ad expired last week then I pulled out the newspaper which was printed that day.By this time we are talking to the sales manager Jessie, he said the quoted price included the gas card. I was OK with this but unhappy but we continued on with the sale and agreed on a price. Really it was not until after the sale and Matt was explaining the Vans options we found out that this car was a dealer demonstrator the sirius radio subscription only has 6 months left, only 1 key fob, over 6000 miles on it, no rear floor mats, and drivers windshield wiper not wiping window. For over a week they were trying to locate the previous driver to find the missing items. These things we can live with but the customer service we received was very poor. After repeated calls It took 10 days before they decided to make us a new key, replace the windshield wiper, give us the wireless headphones for the DVD and floor mats. At first Jessie said he ordered the wrong color mats and we would have to wait even longer for the proper ones. We have been patient up until this point but after a word or two he somehow found matching floor mats. What upsets us the most is while we were there waiting on the key fob to be made no one came out to greet us and talk about how we like our new car or if we had any questions. More
Working with service department is nothing less than a joke! Service manager is obviously not qualified for the job, and does not communicate with technicians, a waste of time explaining the problem. In joke! Service manager is obviously not qualified for the job, and does not communicate with technicians, a waste of time explaining the problem. In stead of inspecting vehicle and looking for the problem it gets wrote off with a stupid excuse of what could of happened. I am fed up with excuses and faulty work and worthless guaranties that problem is fixed. I am not going to continue being a guinea pig to test your repairs. This truck has an ongoing issue called the ram death wobble! Google dodge death wobble, hundreds of people have this problem although I have been told by George that this has never happened, and is unusual. As a service manager dodge has issued bulletins on this problem, obviously you did not read yours! I refuse to trade this truck off to an unexpected family, I have tried to get this replaced with no luck, tri counties you bought it you deal with it philosophy. So I am currently in a battle with chryslers attorneys to settle this issue. Think twice before you purchase a vehicle from Tri County Dodge!! More
