A little background….. never purchased a Dodge of any type… always been a Tundra proud owner.
Tundra was recently totaled by a driver who was more focused on eating than driving and rear ended it when he panicked and slammed the accelerator instead of the brakes (true story)
We went shopping right away as I needed to truck for the business.
Shopped at Ford, Toyota (I did mentioned I’m loyal to Tundra,not necessarily to all Toyota products though), GM and Chevy.
We stopped by John Johnson and fell in love with the ’18 power wagon.
Sent emails to each dealer regarding the model I saw in their respective lots.
I want to be clear… sent same body of message to each with only changing the line where I detail the make/model I wanted best pricing and please not to waste my time.
ONLY John Johnson provided an OTD price! (Out the Door) and it was lower than I expected.
Email with sales manager (Sandy Keiper) were escalated to her sales manager (Jeff Bash) without my request!
Drove to meet them as they were already in the ballpark of what I was willing to pay for this vehicle
NO ONE SITS IN A HIDDEN OFFICE! THIS IS A FIRST FOR ME after purchasing vehicles for over 38 years!!!
Right there I requested yet another obscene price drop and both the sales manager and the GM (Scott Meshulam) do not question my request, but immediately begin going over what and where they can pull the difference!!!
Please understand my background is in Comp Sci and Mathematics so I had already pulled the sheet on this particular truck with all the options and the price they had originally quoted was what I would get if I purchased it from the factory floor!!!! And yet they dug deeper!
The professionalism and just plan “X Factor” on how this group deals with you as a person just turned me into a MOPAR for LIFE provided I can purchase from these 3 people!
