He was awesome!! He is an outstanding employee for this business. Buying a car takes hours and having someone who is friendly and personable really makes a difference. I really could not be happier that I made the 1.5 hour drive to come to Kennedy Ford. The facility is top notch, they have a large selection of vehicles. No one there was pushy whatsoever. Everyone was willing to go that extra mile for you. Working with Gene and the Sales Manager we were able to get the deal the that I wanted for the car that I dreamed of. Special thanks to everyone there for making things happen and doing a stand up job. More

Great sales experience, terrible resolution of concerns I purchased a used car in April 2015 and additionally purchased the 3 year warranty which I was told covered "almost everything" They were fantastic I purchased a used car in April 2015 and additionally purchased the 3 year warranty which I was told covered "almost everything" They were fantastic with the sale, very responsive to questions and made me feel very comfortable. After driving the car for about a week, I discovered several issues with the car. I did not take it back to the dealership as I had a "great warranty", and I really did not have the time to have the car out of commission. I contacted Dave in July to get information on how to get the car repaired under warranty. He told me I could take it to any Ford Dealership. I did so After the car being there for 3 days and having a rental car provided (under the warranty), I found out that none of this would be covered as none of the needed repairs were covered under the warranty. I was then out money for the repairs, diagnostics AND the rental car fee. I contacted Dave via email. He said that I could submit the invoices and he would see what they could do. I did so and didn't hear back for awhile. I contacted him again and he said he never received them. I mailed it out again. no response. I contacted him and was told that it was sent to his manager for review. Again no further information,. It's now been over a month. I've not gotten any response from anyone at the dealership regarding resolving this situation. I would have taken the car back within the 30 days IF I didn't have the warranty which was supposed to have covered everything. The warranty was worthless and the fact that I've not received any response back to take care of this situation is bad business practice. The sale experience was great. This is not the treatment that I expected when I was purchasing the car. Their follow up after the sale has been terrible. I would not use their dealership again or purchase a warranty that does not provide much covereage More
Great start but bad finish I recently purchased a new 2015 Ford F150 using a trade in vehicle and financing the small cost difference. The sales process went smoothly and we st I recently purchased a new 2015 Ford F150 using a trade in vehicle and financing the small cost difference. The sales process went smoothly and we struck a good deal for both parties. Things went south when I told the seller that I couldn't provide the title to my old car.......it was locked in my safety deposit box at a local bank and I lost both keys to open the box. I did not know this until the day I was supposed to pick up the new truck or I would have never agreed to a deal. I suggested to the seller that we postpone the deal until I could gain access to the box but never committed to any date by which I could do this........the seller and dealership agreed to work with me but in 2 weeks demanded that I produce the title immediately or pay the $106 replacement fee. I had pre purchased and paid for $650 of options (bed liner and cargo cover) for which the sales manager said he would not install and agreed to refund the $650 minus the $106 title replacement fee..........essentially using the money I paid to extract his fee for which I never agreed to pay. I was disappointed at the way this was handled by the sales manager. He did eventually call me back, agreed to install pre purchased options and waived the title replacement fee after an argument that neither was of us was going to win. As far as I'm concerned that once an argument ensues with a car dealer everyone loses. More
Terrible I was looking for a new Ford dealership since I had a few negative issues with the last dealership that I had taken my Fusion to for a warranty issue I was looking for a new Ford dealership since I had a few negative issues with the last dealership that I had taken my Fusion to for a warranty issue. My vehicle had warranty work performed last July and due to a nut not being torqued my lower right rear control arm was not secure. When I dropped off the car at John Kennedy Ford of Pottstown I provided them with the complete history of the issue. The next day the service advisor notified me that this he was not able to cover the repair under warranty due to the fact that the work was performed at another dealership. I went to the dealership that evening and the service manager told me there was nothing he could do for me except perform the repair, invoice me and then I would have to contact the original dealership for reimbursement. I asked him how would I approach this same issue if I moved to another state and he just told me there was nothing he could do for me. I will now be looking for another dealership in the area to see if they will be a little more customer focused. More
We were shopping for a vehicle at the dealers in the area and looked at several brands. When we arrived at the John Kennedy Ford we had to go to the 'bullpen' to get a sales guy to come out. They were not and looked at several brands. When we arrived at the John Kennedy Ford we had to go to the 'bullpen' to get a sales guy to come out. They were not busy, all were on their phones. When the sales guy came out he was insulting. I had done extensive research and wanted to look at 3 different vehicles. He did not like that I had done my research and was more interested in selling me what he though I needed. He then left us outside for almost 40 mins while it was 18F outside. I had told him very specifically the features of the vehicle i was interested in and he made us go find the vehicle outside by looking at the stickers when i know he has a list. Other dealers brought the vehicles up to the showroom, warmed up already. When it came to time to discuss price, he was obnoxious. He asked what other vehicles i looked at and then spent the next 45mins degrading the other brands as a way of making his better (Subaru, Toyota, and Jeep - all much better brands) Stay far away from this dealer, I can only imagine how they treat you if you buy from them!!!!! I was very specific on the saleman, made the whole buying a new vechicle really exciting but how can you not be excited about a new 2010 Mustang GT. I was very specific on the specifications of the car and Lance went over and beyond to find me the car of my dreams.Lance was very professinal and yet I felt like I was with a family member. There was no pressure what so ever. I highly recommend seeing Lance and his team.Lets keep it in America Folks More

Being that I picked it up in the dark, Small issues turn into huge problems. My car came to me with buff-marks all over the hood, roof, and trunk. Being that I picked it up in the dark, I never saw the problems until the next day, and even then I thought it was supposed to look like that, because why would a dealership let go a defective product? It was also my first black car, so I thought it to be normal. It wasn't long before I figured out I was an idiot and it wasn't supposed to be like that. No one had given my car a visual once over, or worse... they did and didn't care. Either way, after I bought the paint-protection they offered (Hoping it would fix it), they still let the car go as is, with it's "brushed metal" look on the body. I've complained, and they are now fixing it (after 2 months of arguing), but now the paint protection is pretty useless as I won't be able to have it reapplied until 2 months after the new paint job. This is a daily driver, and I have no way to cover it from birds. My salesman didn't bother showing me the ins/outs of the mustang that night (or anything really), and made it sound like only chumps need to be shown the inner workings of their new car. He was also very abrasive and pushy. My spoiler also had various paint bubbles underneath the clear coat. The spoiler was repaired, but in the dumbest way possible. Instead of just replacing it and fixing the old one, they took the entire car for a week, repainted the spoiler, and then gave it back. The service team always has an excuse why something doesn't work. Anything to get out of doing something. My heater-core is going and it's leaving a film all over my windows. Their response: "This is normal and the way it's supposed to work." Though if you ask ANYONE else, they disagree. Here's my biggest gripe: Had someone taken 5 seconds too look at my car, they would have seen that the brushed metal "wasn't right." And I could've immediately gotten a different car. NOW, I've spent over $500 and countless hours of aggravation in dealing with these people. AVOID JOHN KENNEDY FORD IN POTTSTOWN!!! More
