John Lee's Panama City Mazda

Worth traveling to! My husband and I recently purchased a vehicle from John Lee Mazda in Panama City and the entire experience was wonderful. We live in Pensacola, FL and had been doing tons of online research to find the best inventory and the best prices on the 2017 CX-5s. We spotted an awesome deal with this particular dealership and called to make sure the vehicle was still on the lot considering it was a 2.5 hour drive to the dealership. From start to finish the process was great. We initially spoke with Kim on the phone who had someone go out in their lot to put a hand on the vehicle to make 100% sure it was in front of them prior to our drive over and she made sure to let the staff know we were coming to look it over. She was extremely friendly on the phone and conversation was relaxed and a breeze. Upon arriving at the dealership we were met by Orlando who was our tour guide to everything Mazda CX-5. It was nice to work with someone who was personable, laid back, and who you could tell actually knew everything about the vehicle we were interested in. We started with a tour around the features of the vehicle followed by myself and my husband test driving the vehicle. Throughout the process we never felt harassed by the stereotypical "car salesman" attitude. We had genuine conversation throughout the test drive. Upon arriving back to the dealership and sitting down to discuss financing we appreciated the brief but thorough discussion we had. As a financially conscious person I knew where we sat with our current APR offers, how much we wanted to put down, where we needed to be to make this vehicle work for us, and of course the fair market value for what we were looking at. That being said the vehicle was priced extremely fair. It was actually priced only $100 more than the lowest fair market value according to KBB, edmunds, and trucar. Overall, we walked out with the car we wanted at an excellent APR with payments we aimed for and an overall price we anticipated. It beat out our local Mazda dealership by more than $1,000. After finalizing the paperwork we walked back out to our brand new car that was re-detailed and set up for a photo opp with balloons and a huge bow. We had a good laugh and appreciated how we felt that they thought of it all! I could continue to go on about how great the experience was but I think it's understood that we highly recommend the John Lee Mazda dealership and will continue to due so to everyone we know. We will always keep them in mind and feel they are worth the travel back to purchase future vehicles from. More

I was on my way from Home Depot across the street to get service and locked my keys in I actually bought a Nissan from this joint Nissan/Mazda dealer. I was on my way from Home Depot across the street to get service and locked my keys in the car while it was running. I called to see if they make service calls, and they said,"No. But hold on." They ended up sending their Service Manager across the street to me, and unlocked my car free of charge. I was able to make my appointment on time, and they were nothing but nice. More

He took the necessary details that he needed to assure me that he was sure that John Lee Maza could meet my exacting specifications. I made an appointment to meet with him and the rest is history. I am a car salesman's worst nightmare, and I usually go into a dealership ready for battle. However, there was no need. This time I was pleasantly surprised and very quickly disarmed. Quiet, pleasant and easy going, Orlando made this purchase of a new CX5 easy and he deleted my need for battle armor. James and Robert made the fine details easy to understand and were equally as pleasant to deal with. No high pressure sales, no theatrics of 'asking my sales manager' over and over again. All in all this was a wonderful experience. More
