New Class A Purchase Johnny Walker RV is an awesome place to buy an RV. We have owned a few RV's in the past so new, some used but this was our first big $$$ purchase. Pleasant Motor Home Purchase and Delivery Experience My wife and I dropped into Johnny Walker's last year, just shopping for a potential future small motor home purchase. J.J. Jeansonne showed us many un My wife and I dropped into Johnny Walker's last year, just shopping for a potential future small motor home purchase. J.J. Jeansonne showed us many under 32' units which they had in stock at both Johnny Walker new RV locations. We were impressed with JJ's willingness to discuss so many options for our dog show needs (while knowing that we would not purchase anything at that time). When we were ready to buy an RUV suitable for our specific needs we called JJ and made an appointment for April 30th to look at a Thor Axis unit like he had shown us last year. JJ had us both drive an in stock Axis for some distance. We were impressed by its great visibility and ease to drive. We told JJ we were interested in buying the demo we drove, with some unique modifications to make it suitable for two dog kennels, one 42" and the other 36" long. After discussing the modifications with his Sales Manager we agreed upon a very fair price and signed the buyers order that same day. On May 5th I took our dog kennels to be installed in the Axis (after the sleeper sofa had been removed to make room for the kennels). Matt's installation was perfect, not only as functional as we hoped, but it looked great as well! That Friday, after the final pre-delivery was completed, Matt (Johnny Walker's new vehicle technician) went though all of the mechanical and electrical systems on the Axis with us. When Matt explained the requirement to run the gasoline powered generator every month, I told him that was not practical for us. Matt offered an inexpensive fuel shut off valve option which would avoid that need. The shut off was installed and the gas was run out of the generator while we completed the paper work! We drove back to our storage lot on May 6th with JJ and a helper following us with our removed sleeper sofa in a Johnny Walker pickup truck. They moved the sofa into my storage area where it will remain until we some day wish to sell the RUV (assuming most buyers would prefer the sleeper sofa to dog kennels in that space). JJ and Matt were very professional, friendly and helpful though the entire purchase to delivery process. I give them both a 10 (on a scale of 10) for their work with us! Don Ahnger More
