Right out of the gate, Gustavo promised exceptional customer experience and he more than delivered on that promise. He was great at listening to us, and answering our questions, all while being genuine and an engaging person to talk to. Unfortunately we weren’t able to drive the car home that day, however he came in the following day (his day off!!!) to hand off the car and get our phones synced up. We couldn’t have asked for a better customer experience. (Oh yeah, our new Kona is awesome!) More

Very unprofessional Matter : looking to get new "Hyundai Santa Fe", so did inquire about price and deals, get a deal and price quote of the car. - I went to the dealers Matter : looking to get new "Hyundai Santa Fe", so did inquire about price and deals, get a deal and price quote of the car. - I went to the dealership to ask for any salesperson for help and test drive a car. - "No sales person was available"- waited for almost 15 minutes - Finally, the salesperson appears for helping me out, and I explained to him what I am looking for, he answered: "This is not GMC or Ford ", The price that you are seeing is a typo mistake, not a correct price. (Discussion was going on while walking, did not even offer me to sit and talk properly). I understand mistakes happen, and I know Hyundai is a very reputed brand but you can't just disrespect other card brands. - he went away and I was waited outside for like 20 minutes, and after someone else came up and said no this is not available at this price. (unprofessional) - I wanted to discuss some other option and definitely would like to see other cars also, but unfortunately seems like no one was interested. sorry to say but I am very disappointed by the experience. even not offered me to test drive a car. ("I did confirm by calling and got the response that it's a correct price and set up an appointment also but unfortunately I just waste my time, sorry to say but......). ("sent an email to the manager's but no response received yet") More
Pleasantly Surprised, to say the least! The short version: EXCELLENT from e-mail to visit. No rush, no pushing into anything I may not need, even suggested I wait until the next day so I was able to spend as much time as I needed to test drive the car because it was going to be my second largest purchase next to my home. What a refreshing sales approach! I even asked my salesperson if he just wanted to get home on time, and he assured me that he was fine with staying late, but didn't want me to rush or feel rushed. I went to my pleasantly set appointment at Johnson Hyundai thinking that I would get the run around, and was ready to play "the game." I gave myself the pep talk, similar to David Spade preparing Chris Farley to win at sales in the movie "Tommy Boy." All of that was unnecessary angst on my part. The atmosphere at Johnson Hyundai is very calming, it is as if you're walking into a friend's home, and that friend just happens to have cars for sale. There is no pressure, all of the staff is smiling, and I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect from my first e-mail with Dustin, to meeting Johanna at reception (even though I didn't have the name of the person I was supposed to be meeting with - she didn't waiver on her smile, and looked it up in the system), to meeting with a giant of a man in size and character, salesperson Mark Priest. Mark was/is very knowledgeable about the product he sells, and he obviously believes in it. He doesn't seem the type who could sell a product that he wouldn't stand behind. We went to his desk, but since it was too bright, we moved over to another one so I wasn't in the hot seat. He took the time to go over the differences in the models (Blue, SEL, and Limited) to ensure/confirm my research was correct, so I didn't buy a higher model than necessary for the options I wanted. Mark was up front and explained that he had been in my spot at the buying side of the table, and further explained that he would be going back to his manager's office with the numbers, but that he wouldn't be wearing a groove in the floor doing it - two or three times max because he said a deal should be able to be made in that or less. Again, refreshing! The first set of numbers were better than my "worst case scenario," but were still nowhere near where I needed to be. The second set, after give and take on my part (longer loan term), came in under my max by $3, but when GAP was added it came in at $10 over my max. By this time, it was nearly closing time, and I had yet to test drive the particular Ioniq I wanted, as there was no point driving the Blue (which I already had last year) because the options I wanted to utilize are not available. So we shook hands, and set a time to come back on Saturday when the particular car would be available to drive, and the numbers could be mulled over some more. Ten dollars per month more than what I told myself was my line in the sand, that's what I left with on my mind. Thankfully, the finance department was able to finesse the numbers so that I didn't go over my line in the sand, and they still made their profit. I asked to speak with one of the sales managers while I was there, Frank Irizarry, to compliment him on being in management at a dealership with such great a customer-focused energy and atmosphere, and commended him on such a diverse work force. It is nice to see so many backgrounds represented in one small company. Furthermore, I complimented him on working for a company that kept their facilities clean and functional, but not opulent as some of the other dealerships. They even provide customers with complimentary soda fountain and snacks, a small but welcomed and appreciated gesture. Overall, this dealership takes the extra steps to make sure that the customer is comfortable in every way as the deal is made. Even the people I polled in the service department were pleased with the service that they were receiving, and had good things to say about their vehicles. How many times can someone ask a service customer how their day is going and not catch an earful of barbed words? I recommend this dealership and staff to anyone looking for a Hyundai. As for my Ioniq, Alanis, I am going to need to put a few thousand miles under my belt before I can confidently recommend it over my previous Toyota hybrids, but obviously it ranked high enough and was enough of a value that I pulled me away from the Toyota family :). On a more personal note, I greatly appreciated the candor of those I worked with on this deal. They're real people here. Yes, they're real people trying to sell cars to put food on their tables, but they are genuine in their discussions. I left feeling like a valued customer, and not a sales tally mark on a board :) More

Today I got an email about buying another car, after I’ve repeatedly asked to take me off of their mailing list. They can’t even get my name right. It is insulting and annoying to continue to hear from them, especially because they were less than helpful when I called to ask a very basic question about changing a burnt-out headlight. I will always attempt to contact the business before writing a poor review. But when I get no response, there is not much else I can do to air my concerns. I have called and sent several emails that have gone unanswered. They’ve been less than helpful over the years for a variety of things, and I am unimpressed. Not even an attempt to redeem themselves, and I’ve given this dealership ample chances to do so. I bought another car this week and will be happy to wash my hands of my Hyundai that they pressured me to purchase. It has had multiple issues, as many cars do, but I couldn’t rely on Johnson to assist. (My mistake was buying it.) I hope others have a better experience or simply choose another dealership. More
