The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the whole process, Cecilia Gustavo and Phil were patient and knowledgeable and were able to guide me through trading in my old car and entering into a new lease for a brand new Veloster. When I came to pick up my new car Gustavo was waiting outside to greet me. He guided me through the process and helped me get setup and on my way in my new Veloster. All of the following people: Michael Nyugen, Johnny, Kevin, Gevin, and David provided excellent assistance. I came to the dealership having never driven a Hyundai Santa Fe. I began my car search a year ago, reading online and browsing dealerships. Now, a few months later, having read about the the Santa Fe and driving it, and with great help with no uncomfortable pressure from Michael, my sales rep, I realized the Santa Fe was the car for me. Among other dealerships, I visited Johnston Hyundai 3 times over several weeks, drove the Santa Fe twice, and each time Michael and the others offered valuable information without any intimidation or pressure. After discussing the features of each "tier," I concluded the SEL was the perfect match for my needs. The sales team knew I was also looking at other makes/models, but they maintained a professional approach, focusing on the advantages of the SF. I was a Rav4 owner for almost 10 years, and I originally thought I would return to a Rav4. But after driving both the 2019 Rav4 and the 2019 Santa Fe two times, I knew I preferred the Santa Fe for several reasons: The Santa Fe interior and dashboard look and function like a sedan--classy and very user friendly. I wanted (and love) the new safety features, hands free phone, the remote keys, the remote car starter and heat activator, and many other features which are standard on even the tier 1 and 2 models of Santa Fe. The interior seating is very roomy in front and back, and as a biking enthusiast, I can say the cargo space is perfect! When I fold down the 2nd row, my bike fits with no need to even take a wheel off. SO convenient! The ride is smooth and quiet--it was smoother and quieter than the Rav4, and this was important to me. I have owned the car for a week now, and I could not be happier! Having bought both new and pre-owned cars, I am so glad I went with a new Santa Fe, and they worked with my budget to help make it happen. I think the Santa Fe is a gem, and more people should take a look when shopping for a midsize SUV. It feels like a very expensive car, but with a more reasonable price tag. I bought the red model (exactly the shade I wanted) and it's beautiful--but there are plenty of other colors from which to choose. The silver and deep navy versions are also eye-catching. More
