That purchasing experience started with me building a desired model on the Genesis websi I purchased a 2019 Genesis G70 from Johnson Hyundai of Cary. That purchasing experience started with me building a desired model on the Genesis website, putting in an inquiry to the closest dealership (which was Johnson Hyundai) and then receiving an immediate email and text follow up from Donte Farrish, the first Johnson Hyundai team member with whom I had direct contact. Donte worked with me to schedule a test drive, and made sure that I had the right contacts with other Johnson associates for the next step. Joseph Lynch, Product Manager, then took me on a test drive, reviewing options and features of the vehicle. After the test drive, Joseph worked closely with me to get the best trade in value for my current vehicle - even matching what I had received as a purchase quote from another car buyer - and along with Kris Wilkins (Finance Manager) helped me with getting a fantastic APR to use for financing the remainder of the purchase. I even received "competitor discount" since my wife was driving a vehicle from a direct competitor! The whole process was fairly straightforward and seamless, with the final touch point from the team coming from Kris, who closed out the purchase with a review of additional options and finalization of commercial paperwork. All of this happened under the oversight of Johnny Barbaro, the General Sales Manager, who quickly answered key inquires from his team during this process - available inventory vs. inbound units for color/ package matching, availability/ applicability of discounts, etc. - and also followed up with me the next day following the purchase to see if I had everything I needed. This is exactly how buying at a dealership should be, where a buyer can come into a dealership and be an owner of a wonderful G70 without headaches, red tape or delays. We test drove the car one day, then, after driving several other brands at other dealerships, we decided we wanted to buy the Tucson, and we wanted to deal with Michael. He gathered nearly all the information he needed over the phone. When we got to the dealer the car was already being prepped and the paperwork was ready. The whole thing took less than 2 hours, and Mike was able to get us the price we were comfortable with. The staff at the dealer are great; manager Frank was accommodating and finance guru Mario made the whole thing easy. The dealership is very clean and modern with ample parking for customers (which can be a problem at other dealers). We had a very good experience, the car is just great, and Michael made the deal happen. More
