He made the process easy; he’s knowledgeable, straight-forward and friendly. Neither my husband nor I felt any pressure at any point of the process - and believe me when I say, we took our time coming to a decision! Through it all, Patrick remained a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed working with him so much that when a neighbor was looking to buy a Subaru, we referred her and she, too, had a great experience with Patrick. So! When, five months after buying our Legacy, my husband was hit and the car was totaled, of course we went back to Johnson Subaru and Patrick. And once again, we had an excellent experience. Fantastic. I've bought 12 cars from dealers over the last 15 years or so (yes, I have a problem - but there are worse addictions that I also have). This was a f I've bought 12 cars from dealers over the last 15 years or so (yes, I have a problem - but there are worse addictions that I also have). This was a fantastic experience. - They actually made sure they had the car here before I came in (I've had dealers lie about stock to get you there and then try and talk you into a different car). - Bobby was honest about the buying process, and willing to negotiate to get to a payment I was happy about, and set honest expectations for things like what the interest rate and payment terms would be. (I had a dealer in Phoenix make me come back and resign for a shorter term because they "couldn't do that interest rate for that long" - so much for getting the payment I wanted). - They were up-front about the add-on options - so no surprises about whether or not a warranty or maintenance package is included. (I had one dealer in SoCal make me finance more than I needed to with a promise they'd write me a check for the difference - which took them almost 6 weeks to cut). - The finance guy helped choose a maintenance and warranty package that made sense for me instead of just trying to sell the most expensive options. (I had a dealer try to tack on $5,000 worth of additional cost just for oil changes and some "free" detailing). - They were quick to get me into service to get some of the new car stuff taken care of (roof racks, etc...), and that went as smooth as could be. (I've had dealers promise loaners "every time you get your car serviced", only to find out they are always short on loaners.) To top all that off, they had lunch delivered for us while we worked out the paperwork. Awesome. I waited a few days to write this to make sure there wasn't anything odd that came up after the sale, but nothing shady like that happened here, just a great car buying experience. More
