Worst car buying experience ever. I came to Kalidy because they had a car that my wife really liked. I put in an inquiry online on a Friday night. I got a call from the dealership around 9 am Saturday morning. The salesman asked me to come in to see the vehicle and test drive it. I immediately gathered my young sons and arrived at Kalidy a little after 9:30 am. I explained to the salesman my pricing wishes, how much I was putting down if we did a deal, and I told him that I had an appointment at 11:15. He continued to talk to me about buying and asked me to fill out a credit application. After I fill out the credit application I was told that I was approved and he was going to get the car so I could see it. 15 minutes later he comes back and tells me that the car isn't on the lot and he has to retrieve it from another lot. About 5 minutes later he comes back and tells me that the car is too far to retrieve quickly and that I can either wait for it or do the deal now and they can deliver the car to me. He told me that his manager said that anything I noticed when they deliver the car would be "taken care of" as part of their "mandatory Friends For Life package". The Friends For Life package is a nearly $2000 1 year limited warranty that is lumped on top of the online prices that you see. The low prices you see online aren't true! Also, I informed the finance office that I was buying an extended warranty, so the Friends for life package would overlap. They doubled down and said it would cover "anything I noticed after delivery". I waited for about an hour to get in to the finance office and had to reschedule my appointment. After I left I started texting with the salesman that was going to bring the car. He kept telling me that he was waiting on detailing. Around 4:30pm he told me that he was going to clean it himself and bring it so I could have it before his clock out time. He brought the car and I could immediately tell that someone that didn't know how to detail did it. I am not criticizing the young man's decision because he was trying to put the customer first unlike the rest of Kalidy Kia. Shortly after our test drive, my wife noticed that it looked like someone rushed a headliner replacement. There were parts of the visor and roof handle missing (pics included). I told my the delivery guy and the salesman, and they said it may be able to be fixed. Eventually, the salesman told me it won't be replaced. Kalidy uses the tagging "Friends for life", but it should be "Friends for life (of the deal)". After hours of back and forth texting with the salesman, he decided to have service order the parts. I brought the car in today to be fixed. I told the guy in the garage what I was there for, and I was acknowledged. An hour and 15 minutes of waiting in service with my 2 year old son, a guy from service came in and asked whose car it was. I told him and I finally got a text saying they were working on it. After 2 and half hours of waiting, they finally got my car done. TL;DR Don't be fooled by Kalidy's low internet prices. They are fake. Anything they tell you is likely lies to get a deal done. They don't care! I originally posted this to Google and I was going to leave it at that, but Kalidy replied to review saying that I "opted in" to the "Friends for Life" package. That is a blatant lie. I was told that it is mandatory and if I didn't want to pay that fee, I could not buy the car. More
