Be careful! We bought a used 2010 Volvo XC70 from this dealer. The people were pleasant enough, the car is great, but when we got the car home we discovered a few We bought a used 2010 Volvo XC70 from this dealer. The people were pleasant enough, the car is great, but when we got the car home we discovered a few (we thought) minor issues: When we picked up the car there was a service department paper mat on the driver's side. We were told the car would have a thorough 'pre-sale check-out', so this made sense. We got home, 50 miles away, and discovered there was no driver's side floor mat under the paper mat. We called and asked for the mat, and were sent one that was the wrong color. We called again and asked for one of the right color, a new one if necessary, and were told the car was sold 'as is', and that they couldn't find a used mat and would not give us a new one. We discovered there is also no owner's manual in the car, and we've been promised one for over a month. It hasn't turned up and we're told it's on back-order. The most serious issue is that when we got home we discovered the spare tire inflation had not been checked in the 'pre-sale check-out' and was at 5 PSI instead of the recommended 80. My wife and daughter drove the car home 50 miles with a useless spare, and I'm very unhappy about that. More

This was the first time that I went to the dealership and had a great experience. David Markowitz was the most professional and knowledgeable car dealer I've come across. In ten minutes he completely explained all of the unique, standard and safe features in the new Volvo we were considering. He never made me fell uncomfortable. He was never pushy. He didn't ask us a lot of intrusive and decision making questions. Overall, he was excellent. More

Was lied to, so I left and leased the car elsewhere. Went into Karp Volvo to lease a Volvo V60. On the floor they had a V60 Cross Country. When my wife asked to see the regular V60, the salesman told u Went into Karp Volvo to lease a Volvo V60. On the floor they had a V60 Cross Country. When my wife asked to see the regular V60, the salesman told us that Volvo no longer made the regular V60 and now only made the Cross Country. There was no point in having a confrontation with the salesman and calling him a liar, so we politely thanked him and left. Needless to say, I would never do business with a dealership that in - in the BEST case - has salespeople who know less than a customer, but more than likely just LIED because he did not have the car we wanted in stock. And no matter how the dealership will want to spin it - this guy lied. There was no misunderstanding here. And, listen to THIS miracle! I was able to find the car we wanted that same day at Glen Cove Volvo! Imagine that? We got a car that doesn't exist. More

Cathy from the lease return department is nothing but a nightmare to deal with. She is rude and nasty. She must hate her job so much she should be fired. She has no customer service skills whatsoever. She rudely kept calling me sir, after i told her i was not a man, and she just laughed. If this is the type of people they employ there, then why would I ever buy or lease another Volvo from them. I do own another Volvo as well and will not be bringing it there for any servicing. When i do buy another Volvo it will not be from Karp. Thanks for nothing!!!! I don't know how people give you such great reviews, because i have dealt with nothing but rudeness and inconvenience. More
