I ended up walking out with a plan to buy a Honda Civic after leasing it for 36 months. While it sounds like I was upsold, I found out it was less money than buying the car I had my eye on, and the money I save is just about the same as a trade-in on the used car after a few years as well. And this is what made Keeler and Shafiq fantastic; I felt that they were always acting in my best interest with a friendly demeanor. This was my first time going through the process, and without a doubt I would recommend Keeler Honda and Shafiq. I was excited to give good review because it was one of the easiest car buying/leasing process I have ever experienced. However about almost a month later which was today we get a text message saying something was messed up with our lease. So before we get back up to the dealer I received a notification from Experian that Honda made an additional inquiry on my credit. (Which I did NOT authorize) I am also going though the home buying process and as anyone would know many inquiries on a credit report is not a good thing. The guy (Nathan) whom we delt with for the second loan application did not explain a single thing to us as to why we're re-doing the application and offered no solution to removing an inquiry. I was clearly upset and confused about the process and they did not seem to care. Needless to say when this lease is up we will be bringing the car to a different dealer and will bring our business elsewhere. It's sad how one persons attitude and unwillingness to explain anything can ruin a customers view. More
