Terrible customer service and follow up 9/19/15 2 weeks ago I went back to this dealership, which is where I purchased the car to have the check engine light looked at. I made an apt for 8 a 9/19/15 2 weeks ago I went back to this dealership, which is where I purchased the car to have the check engine light looked at. I made an apt for 8 am and arrived 15 mins early. 2 hrs into sitting in the waiting area, I finally decided to get up and find out what was going on. Donnie who was the attendant on the account had not once come in to check on me or to keep me posted on what was going on. I located Donnie who said he would come see me shortly, he just needed to check on something and he would explain in detail what they found wrong with my car. I went back to the waiting area and sat for another 15 min. Finally I'd had enough. I got the attention of one girl who was too busy discussing the contents of someone's car with another attendant and told her someone needs to let me know whats going on now, I stood out front in the drop off area for another 10 min. While standing there I overheard a manager telling another customer how "Your home and we take care of you here", upon hearing this I began to discuss how that statement was far from the truth and told him that I am 2 seconds from speaking to a manager. He made aware that he was a manager and that he wanted to know what the issue was. As I was beginning to explain my issue with lack of followup from Donnie or anyone on the findings of my car, Donnie walks up. The manager then asks in front of Donnie how long it took for someone to talk to me and I explained that I knew its busy but I have been here for 2 hrs with no one following up with me in regards to the status. He then looks at Donnie, says a half assessed sorry and then proceeds to his next customer. Donnie hands me my paper, never explained what the issue is and sends me in to check out. Flash forward to today, I call the dealership to see if my part came in. I get transferred a total of 3 times. Finally I get to the parts department to find out that not only is my part in, but its been there since the 22nd. Not one call was made to make me aware of this. You should be ashamed of how you treat your customers and the lack of resolution that is offered from your managers. This is one dealership I would never recommend anyone to fall victim to. More
Lazy slack xxxxx giving consumers the run around Reason For Visit Service "Lazy slack axxxx giving consumers the run around" First off! The receptionist, Sandy is unprofessional. Sandy transfe Reason For Visit Service "Lazy slack axxxx giving consumers the run around" First off! The receptionist, Sandy is unprofessional. Sandy transfers you without informing you first and doesn't willingly give her name. I wonder why! Lol Awesome customer service Sandy (in my sarcastic voice). My car has been there twice. It turns off in the middle of traffic. They tell me they can't fix it because they can't duplicate the problem. I tell them to drive the car everyday for as least 20 min. so that it can do what it does to me. They don't! Went to get some items out of my car. It took them 30 min. to find the key. Sure you're driving it! Sharon Ader the rep. I was working with hung up on me. After I questioned the lame excuse she gave me in regards to ordering a part. Anyway, they had my car for 2 wks. Found nothing...Ive had it back for 2 days...drove up the street to the store. Off again! Nevertheless, I DO NOT recommend them for any service. Lazy staff and unprofessional. Quick tip: For other 2010 Town and Country owners. I found out how to restart the car! Instead of waiting 45 min. for it to do it on its own. SLIGHTLY LIFT THE RED CABLE CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY! Turn the key and it restarts with no problem! Now to see how to fix the problem. How do you manufacture a car and not know how to fix it? SMH More
Technicians broke bolt off in Motor Good Morning Mr. Maus, I am AEJ, I'm sure AJ have spoke to you about me and in regards to the situation we have had with my vehicle. I came in a co Good Morning Mr. Maus, I am AEJ, I'm sure AJ have spoke to you about me and in regards to the situation we have had with my vehicle. I came in a couple of weeks ago and was assisted by Donnie, whom by the way is an excellent employee. I told him my situation which was that my car (2007 PT cruiser) was diagnosed by three other Mechanics that it needed a Crank Shaft sensor position and the Computer needed to be flashed. Donnie gave me an invoice to give to CHA so that I could pay for the work to be done via my escrow account, but as the week goes by I really needed my vehicle seeing as though I live in Charlotte but work in Gastonia so when I got paid that following Wednesday I was assured by AJ that when the check comes it could be signed over to me with an guaranteed stamp so that I could deposit it in my WellsFargo account so that I wouldn't really miss anything out of my paycheck. Well, I brought my car in that Wednesday the 16th, and after three hours of waiting I was told a bolt broke off in my motor and I would have to be an additional $2,000 to take the nail out, was told it was my fault and the car is old. Then I was told by AJ that I had to pay for the part that I couldn't even use, but the next day was given a refund but STILL without a car that before I came in there was STILL drivable. Problem is, I received check today which will help me greatly to put down on another vehicle because I have been without a vehicle for a week now and its very hard for me to get to work daily, but AJ is now saying he can not sign the check over to me, which to me the LEAST you guys could do is sign it over so that I could use the $233.65 to use for a down payment on another vehicle! I did consult with an attorney and was given legal advice that I could have and can STILL take Keffer Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram to court for at least the $3000.00 I spent on the vehicle. I was also advised to contact The Better Business Beaureu , and the States Attorneys office seeing as though this is a consumer issue. I have also decided to take this matter to Channel nine investigates because this whole situation is suspect to me, and I feel like I am being hassled to try to get a brand new vehicle. I informed AJ that this whole ordeal could have been avoided had they used an power tool to take the bolt out. Now I am without a vehicle and short $200 bucks to go towards another vehicle. I also feel motivated to type reviews on different websites because this simple mistake could have been avoided and now I'm left to fend for myself, when the issue is and never was my fault. I myself am tired of calling the dealership and having people hang up on me or give me the run around, especially AJ. I feel stressed greatly over this situation and would like for you to give me a call back at your earliest convenience at 704******* please! Thank You, AEJ It has been a month since I wrote this letter to Mr. Maus and I still have not heard anything back from him. I saved a few checks to get the car I am in now but still I had to use my mothers car for those weeks and it was a huge inconvenience!!! More
Its what everyone expects a dealership to be I bought my truck here in Feb of 2014. I moved just after buying my truck. For most people that means they use the nearest dealership to service their vehicle, but unlike most I drive over 90 miles to go back. Here's why: I have a pleasant experience every time I go to Keffer. All of the staff are knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. The service is always quick and efficient and I feel like they are family. I trust the people who work on my cars and I would drive 1,000 miles or more to continue to receive service at Keffer. The next time I go to buy a vehicle I will buy it from Keffer. I got everything I wanted and more! More
Service Department - Still waiting I noticed my car was Jeep was getting close to 30k miles so I came in mid-July for the 32k mile checkup listed in my Jeep's manual. I went on cars.com I noticed my car was Jeep was getting close to 30k miles so I came in mid-July for the 32k mile checkup listed in my Jeep's manual. I went on cars.com to get an idea of how much the service would cost. The site said anywhere between $215-$306. I told them in addition to what's listed in the 32k mile service schedule, I wanted a tire looked at (leaked air) and my brake pads checked because they squeal when I slow down. After my car was serviced, I was presented a bill for $750. I must have been in shock until I left the dealership because I didn't realize how badly I was ripped off. When I got home I called in asking about the price and someone in the service department explained that they forgot to reprice something, and they were going to refund me the difference of $120. I was very appreciative that they were able to do so however $630 for a 32k mile checkup STILL sounded pricey. I looked at the invoice and found out that the work that was done was the 64k mile checkup, not the 32k mile checkup I'd asked for. I was able to verify this with a 2 family friends, 1 whom owns a Jeep dealership back home and the other whom of which is the service manager at that same Jeep dealership. I was finally able to get a hold of one of the service managers and they said that they did the additional work because "you can't always go by what's in the book" because cars wear and tear differently in different environments so they went ahead and performed the other services. I completely understand that however NOBODY told me they were doing that work, and more importantly WHY they were doing that work. The work on the transmission listed in the 64k mile checkup is what cost so much more. The service manager acknowledged fault in how their service team handled my situation. Therefore I'd asked to be refunded for the work nobody told me about and finally after speaking with a service manager for a couple weeks they agreed to figure out the total and I'd be sent a check. It's now been over a week since speaking with/hearing from that service manager and I'm still out a few hundred bucks because of their lack of communication. I've never purchased a car from their sales department so I can't speak on the dealership as a WHOLE, but I'll never take my Jeep there for service again. Oh and my brakes are still squeaking... More

2005 Dodge cummins #4 injector line replaced The injector line cracked on me around 1 AM had truck towed to Keffer for repair. Choose Keffer because my wife and I purchased a new 2013 Jeep Grand The injector line cracked on me around 1 AM had truck towed to Keffer for repair. Choose Keffer because my wife and I purchased a new 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee from them rather than our local dealer in Rockingham NC. So I assumed that they would take care of me in my extreme hour of need since we purchased from them in the past. See this all happened while I was visiting my father who is at Carolinas medical center hospital on a ventilator, boy was I wrong. They bill themselves as the family dealer this is total xx. They charged me over 225 dollars to remove two nuts and install the new 100 dollar line. I just feel like they took total advantage of and out of town guys misfortune. I know I was at their mercy so I had no choice but to pay it and I did but when it comes time for my new truck purchase in the next few months you can bank on Keffer not getting that sell. # remember good customers # be fair.
