Justin was very honest about buying the right vehicle based on what we were able to afford and what we wanted. He made sure we were satisfied with the choice we made. based on what we were able to afford and what we wanted. He made sure we were satisfied with the choice we made. More

Preying on the Elderly How would you react if your single, 75 year old mother-in-law told you she’d bought a new car? How would you react when you discovered she was waiting How would you react if your single, 75 year old mother-in-law told you she’d bought a new car? How would you react when you discovered she was waiting for a routine oil change on her perfectly good car when she was preyed upon by the dealer? How would you react when you saw the contract and realized she’d been charged a higher than earned interest rate, low balled on her trade in, been charged full sticker price, sold gap insurance, sold an extended warranty, and put into a 75 month contract? How would you react when you found out that preying on the elderly is completely legal and that the trusted dealer showed no remorse? How would you react, where would you turn? Beware, this is what absolutely happened at Keffer Kia in Mooresville. This is what salesman Eddie Johnson, GSM Greg Armstrong, and Finance Director Michael Johnson believe is acceptable behavior. On Monday we were called to say they couldn't do the recall because they didn't have the parts. They had given them away over the weekend to people who came in for oil changes. Not the recall, but they got the parts that should have gone to us. They didn't know when they would get the parts. We informed them that we would have to have a loaner car as we had made arrangements for the day that we were originally scheduled. They did eventually give us a loaner car and performed the recall. They told us that the car needed front and back brakes. We did not due the brakes then, but a couple of weeks later we got something in the mail reminding us we needed brakes. We took the car to another shop that does brake work and we were informed our brakes were just fine and did not need replacing at this point. Be careful when this dealership tells you that your car needs work. Get a second opinion. We won't be back More

While there I had asked her to have them check on a very noticeable rattling / banging noise that was occurring in the right rear of the vehicle every time the vehicle would hit a bump or uneven area of the road. This noise by the way had been present since we had purchased the vehicle from this dealership but was getting progressively worse. After approximately 2 hours, my wife was advised that the noise was coming from a bad shock and was given two options on replacement parts, factory or aftermarket. There was a little confusion on the repair, but the service manager took care of everything immediately. Very satisfied! More

From s I've bought several vehicles here and know nearly all the long term employess at the dealer. Bar none, everyone is great to do business with. From sales, to parts, to service, and even just to stop in and vist, they treat you like family in the best possible use of that phrase. Good, good people; great cars, great value, no reason ever to regret purchasing a KIA and buying it here at Keffer. They really do care that you love your car, and, break their backs addressing any issue including giving the best purchase deal possible, followed up by awesome service. The GM, Dwayne Smith, has worked hard to build a great team; he remembers his customers and spends much of his day being accessible on the sales or service floors greeting or visiting with customers; it's clear his employees appreciate him from sales to vehicle detailing. Other great employees include LeighAnn Pernetto, Shannon Moore, Shawn Tate, Justin Schlittenhardt, Miles Crovitz, Jeff Allred and even the telephone 'staff' Yvonne. All are a delight to work with; no better place to get your vehicle and to be treated like a friend instead of an obligation! D. Harris, Mooresville, NC More
I had a warranty issue and brought my Sorento in. Justin informed me that the part would have to be ordered, it would take a couple of days, and that he would call me. I waited a week and a half waiting on informed me that the part would have to be ordered, it would take a couple of days, and that he would call me. I waited a week and a half waiting on a call and then called Justin. Justin told me that the part is not in and it would need to be ordered and that he would call me. I waited another week and a half went by and I had not heard from him yet again. At this point, I was more than a little aggrevated. I called Justin and asked if the part was in and he told me it was. I thanked him and told him that I was on my way. He said he would see if he could fit me in, and I told him no, you will fit me in as this is my one day off and this has gone on long enough with you not following thru with what you have said. When I got there I got a very cold reception from Justin, no apologies of any sort. The work was done quickly and while checking out I wanted to clear the air. I apologized for being so demanding during our phone call, but explained my frustrations with him not calling me as he stated he would numerous times. Again, no response from Justin and no apologies. I was so frustrated with the whole ordeal that I wrote an email to the Service Manager, Steve Capobianco and the General Manager at the time, and did not hear anything in response. I work in sales and service and if I don't follow thru with what I tell someone, then I'm not going to be very successful. Justin's actions are just plain unacceptable. Act like a grown up, not a child that just got their hand smacked for misbehaving. More
I picked up a problem with my Rio on Memorial day when I noticed the check engine light come on. I drove to Keffer Kia not knowing what to expect. Would they be open? Would they be able to check out the car noticed the check engine light come on. I drove to Keffer Kia not knowing what to expect. Would they be open? Would they be able to check out the car? On arrival I found them to be open. As alway Karri was on hand and immediately took the Rio to the shop to have it checked out. Soon, very soon she came back and reported what the problem was. On this day by the way Steve Capobianco was having a birthday. All patrons were treated to cake to celebfate. My problem was I was not able to drive the car any further for fear of possible damage to the engine. Karri to the rescue - I was given a car to drive till the Rio was fixed. Two days later the Rio was ready to roll. The price of the service was realy low and the efficiency with which everything was being handled was highly commendable. I was in and out on Memorial Day within an hour. Service of such high quality is greatly appreciated and does not o unnoticed. More
