Purchased my 2022 Tacoma SR5 on May 11, 2022 from Keith Pearson Toyota. I'm 63 and I've always hated how cars sale people would swarm you once you got out your car, then follow you every step when you're Pearson Toyota. I'm 63 and I've always hated how cars sale people would swarm you once you got out your car, then follow you every step when you're just trying to see what you might be interested in. When I arrived at Keith Pearson a salesman greeted me and opened the front door saying "good morning". The woman at the front desk greeted me asking how she could help. I said just wanted to look around a little. Few minutes later salesman John Bowen approach and introduced himself. Asked if I had any questions, gave me his card and said give me a shout if you need anything, then left us alone just to look a little. I was 100% pre-approved from my credit union, and I knew exactly what I was after. So after looking a few over I went to John. Then the process (which you usually hate) started. But from our first handshake John Bowen made this a really pleasant experience. It felt more like 2 friends discussing buying a car from each other. My experience was totally hassle free, never once felt "pressured" to commit or sign anything. after test driving and discussing the truck I wanted John, myself and my wife sat down to talk. We discussed a few figures, and again I NEVER felt pressured or "guided" into buying anything. After about an hour we semi-agreed on a purchase price concerning trading in my current vehicle or not. I firmly told John I was comfortable with our pricing, but I had one issue. I had already made a purchase deal with my 17 YO granddaughter for my current car. I was NOT agreeing to any deal until I spoke with her to confirm she wanted my current car or not. I told John I had to pick my Granddaughter at 2pm and would get back with him about 3pm. I live nearly an hour away, but gave John my word I'd contact him by 3pm. I called John and told him I was trading in my current vehicle (which you gave me a truly fair price). When I called John I said I'm heading back and I gave him a number I was bringing a check for, which was about $2500 less than our initial agreement. John told me he'd have the truck ready when I arrived. I drove back and within maybe an hour I was heading home with a new truck with only 6.2 miles. Nick in the financing department was very pleasant and professional as well. Found out we had a lot of sports we both liked, again he wasn't just strictly business. I will FOREVER refer anyone to Keith Pearson Toyota and especially John Bowen. John has reached on to me 7 or 8 times in the last 6 days asking if I had any issues or trouble figuring anything out on the vehicle. John is the most professional, yet friendly and non-pushy salesman I've ever dealt with. I know I'm rambling but I can't say enough great positive things about John Bowen and Keith Pearson Toyota. One of the very very few car dealerships that actually live up to their commercials about putting the customer first. I'll be back, and bring whoever I can to buy from you.
