I wanted a mechanic to look at it for me to diagnose and address the issue. About 5 hours after dropping the car off, I was handed a very long "laundry list" of things they wanted to do on the car, none of which addressed the issue that I brought it in for. Examples of services they pushed on me included an oil change (I had just changed it), rotating the tires (I had just rotated them), and changing the front brakes (I knew about the front brakes. I change my own brakes and was planning on doing it soon). I got NO feedback on the entire reason why I was there. I suspect they didn't even look at the car for what I brought it in for, or for any of the other things they said I needed, but merely the miles (120K) and decided to push unnecessary and overly expensive services. They wanted to change my timing belt (something that actually needed to be done) but wanted to charge almost twice what it cost to do it elsewhere. I went to another mechanic who I have gone to for the past decade. He changed my timing belt and water pump for $700. I was quoted $1200 at Kelly Honda for the same job. More

I've never felt like I've been taken advantage of or had unnecessary work suggested. I buy a Honda because the cars are a terrific product and as long as you take care of them properly, they should only need routine maintenance. (Of course, there are always exceptions, but for the most part that is true when it comes to a Honda.) I trust them to do the work properly and I've never been disappointed. The experience is as stress-free as possible. More

Fast, attentive and thorough. Brought my new HR-V in for what turned out to be a bad rear shock absorber (factory defect). Justin Marais, my service rep arranged to have the part ordered and replace the bad shock but unfortunately because the model is so new, the part had to be overnighted. Justin quickly arranged a loaner (2016 Accord) and I was on my way quickly. The next day, the work was done quickly and I was sent on my way.These things happen and the true colors of a service dept. come out in a crisis situation. Kelly Honda came through. More
