Fraudulent practices Had my Escape in for a recall. Was told it would be completed the same day. It was not finished till the following day. When the service dept. called Had my Escape in for a recall. Was told it would be completed the same day. It was not finished till the following day. When the service dept. called to let me know it was done but my battery was dead. So a free recall cost me a battery. I can now say I’m sure that was a lie! 2,000 miles later the low coolant sensor came on, after putting antifreeze in the sensor went off. Seeing that was part of the recall along with hoses I called made an appointment to check that the recall work was not leaking somewhere. Received a call claiming that my transaxle was leaking and that the car needed the water pump replaced at the tune of $3,400. I refused and declined the repairs. Was told that a pressure test still needed to be done to be sure that it was the water pump. How do you write an estimate but still need to make sure. I will not own another Ford because at Christmas 2019 my transmission went out on a car only 6 months and 6,000 out of warranty. I took the car back to the garage that did the work that same day of picking it up to look for the transaxle leak, seeing it has a 2 year warranty. No leak! They asked that I bring it back in two weeks to check again. Seeing that it appeared that transaxle fluid was smeared. So that was cleaned off but no leak or drip but it will be checked again. Also had a pressure test done by our mechanic and there is no need to replace the water pump! I will be filling a complaint with BBB, the Ohio Attorney General and writing the Ford Motor Company of Ganley’s fraudulent practices. More
Very professional service, fit in checking out my vehicle and completed an oil change. Was even nice enough to let me call in my ford point to pay for the oil change. and completed an oil change. Was even nice enough to let me call in my ford point to pay for the oil change. More

Air conditioner repair I spent $526 for a part to repair my air conditioner. I started the car at the dealership and it didn't work. I turned engine off and it functioned. T I spent $526 for a part to repair my air conditioner. I started the car at the dealership and it didn't work. I turned engine off and it functioned. Then for about 2 or 3 weeks the air conditioner worked intermittently and I returned to the dealer once to see the service consultant who wasn't present that day. I finally returned it to be fixed correctly. I was told that the unit needed a new module and they would honor about $300 of the $526 already paid and charge another $1100 to put in a new module. I was told by the consultant that he wasn't even sure that the module would correct the problem and I might have to return again in the future for more repair I elected not to have the repair done. It is ridiculus to pay $1600 to repair an air conditioner in a car with 80000 miles on it. I have never really been happy with this car and will probably never buy another Ford.. More
