I have had issues with Friendly Kia since I bought my car brand new. I had been in 5 used cars previously so it was a big deal for me to finally get myself a new car. Quite a few things happened over the spa brand new. I had been in 5 used cars previously so it was a big deal for me to finally get myself a new car. Quite a few things happened over the span of 2 1/2 years of owning the car, little issues arising here and there and certain things not working properly from the start. There’s a lot to it. But recently I have heard grinding in my brakes here and there. No lights came on or anything to give me a proper warning so I went on the hunch I had and made a service appt. Every time I call appts are weeks and weeks out. Mine wouldn’t have been for over 3 weeks. Aside from all that, that night after I had made the appt the head of the service department Gene Byrd called me from hid personal cell phone and told me he wanted me to bring my car in immediately and that I shouldn’t be driving around like that. That really caught me off guard in the best way. It is not often someone out there is caring like that. So I jumped on the opportunity of him helping me out and brought my car in as soon as I could. He immediately looked at it and kept in touch about everything I needed. It was honestly way more than I expected after only 28k miles. Some wear and tear, but all new tires shouldn’t have needed to happen so soon. I was promised longer upon buying the car. But despite all of it, I was sincerely and completely grateful for Gene’s help. He’s a wonderful and caring person and helped me out in every way he could. Thank you so very much, Gene! More
