Dealer so-so....finance experience not so much Felt very pressured to buy ACP insurance. I was given the "wrong" info. about it and felt lied to. I was told if I bought the most expensive option everything would be covered at no cost to me. I looked in the brochure so I could at least "see" what I was buying. When I saw there was a "fee" (something about them only paying up to $35 per tire & I pay the rest.) I asked about that.... Diane in finance told me that was an OLD brochure on her desk and assured me that the updated information was in the NEW brochure. She did NOT have the new one & made no effort to ask around and see if there was a new one available for me. I was told I could look online when I got home & see that there was no cost.Just would of been nice to see an updated version of what I was buying instead of taking her word. I was also told I could cancel at any time so I believed her and went with it. When I got home I looked online only to find out that the prices and packages are the SAME as the one on her desk.There was NO UPDATED prices or info. I even CALLED the insurance co. and asked. Was told there was nothing that covered 100% Being a little tiffed about shelling out $952 for ACP insurance I called and was told I need to DRIVE out to cancel. GREAT now I had to DRIVE all the way back (90 MILE ROUND TRIP) to sign a paper. When I was asking her about cancelling the ACP insurance she NEVER told me I would have to drive all the way there to sign a paper. She was even AWARE how far I lived from the dealer because we discussed it. When we went back to sign the papers and cancel, the finance lady was very defensive and argumentative with me about the whole deal. She was very snotty, rude & unprofessional....guess because I canceled the "commission" she was suppose to get from the insurance sale. Could of at least offered me a gas card or something for driving back because of HER mistake and misinformation. Now the kicker is.....my payment was lower BEFORE she talked me into buying the ACP insurance (went up a bit when I agreed to the insurance) When I went back to sign the paper to cancel it, she told me my payment would NOT CHANGE! So now even though I canceled it, I am still going to be paying the HIGHER price. I guess she didn't want to be bothered with re-doing all the paperwork. My payment is now higher for no reason! What a joke.....Was also told I would I would get FREE car washes anytime if I just showed my V.I.P. pass. When I asked about the V.I.P. pass I was told it would be mailed to me............ummm still waiting! I have a feeling there is NO V.I.P. pass nor will one be sent to me. I will never go to FRIENDLY KIA or recommend to my friends or family. More

When asked about this, the Service Advisor responds, “I got the info from the VIN #.” As a customer, one can understand a service department being overbooked and busy, but disrespect is always unacceptable. Outstanding Joe has a great team working for him. If was not for joe and Steve I may not have bought the car. My son is 21 years old and this was his first car on Joe has a great team working for him. If was not for joe and Steve I may not have bought the car.
