I feel compelled to warn folks about the terrible experience I had at Ken Ganley of New Port Richie on June 12, 2024. Took my car in for an oil change and to have the theft protection added to my S experience I had at Ken Ganley of New Port Richie on June 12, 2024. Took my car in for an oil change and to have the theft protection added to my Sorrento. Ended up with a quote for lots of repairs - chose to make some of them. But the issue that occurred was with the simplest of car maintenance tasks - changing the oil. Within a mile of leaving the dealership, my oil light came on. On my way back to the dealership to see why the heck my oil light was on, the check engine light came on. After an inspection, the service manager told me that a bad oil filter (which they installed) was preventing oil from going to the engine. So....if you expect to have someone check to see if oil is actually going to the engine after an oil change, do not take your vehicle to this dealership for an oil change. The service tech attempted to give me a coupon for a free oil change in the future, but I demanded a refund for the careless and potentially engine ruining work they had done changing my oil as I will never return to any service center that cannot properly change the oil in my vehicle. So much for taking my Kia to the dealership for the best service - never again! Based on this experience, I will never return to this dealership for service or to purchase a vehicle. More
Stopped by to set up an appointment for and oil change, the 60,000 mile service, brakes, tires and a few other things and was pleasantly surprised when Larry Rosecrants said they could start working on my the 60,000 mile service, brakes, tires and a few other things and was pleasantly surprised when Larry Rosecrants said they could start working on my car that day. Kia even got me a ride home and picked me up the next morning to get my car. Everything was done perfectly and the wash they gave my Niro made it look brand new and had me looking twice to make sure it was actually my car. They even fixed an annoying whistling sound I'd mentioned which turned out to just be a grommet that was knocked off by some road debris that hit the undercarriage. My car runs like new and I'll be taking my wife's Niro in for some TLC soon. Wouldn't take my cars anywhere else. More

Let me tell you about my experience with this dealership, last week my vehicle would not shift out of park. So I was referred to a independent repair shop, he said he thinks it could be the solenoid, so he o last week my vehicle would not shift out of park. So I was referred to a independent repair shop, he said he thinks it could be the solenoid, so he ordered the part. Well that wasn't the problem so he ordered a module, which would not be in for a couple of days. That being said had me pay for parts before installed in vehicle. So I decided to call Ken Ganley Kia, spoke to Larry in the service department, let me tell you he was so helpful and assured me that he would do everything to help me out, he made an appointment for me for the very next day. We spoke to Todd in the parts department about the ordered parts, (parts were ordered from Kia ) and was told electrical parts are not returnable. We than talked to parts manager Sean he was also very helpful as he discounted the part that would fix the vehicle a BCM. So I decided to talk to the service manager Reese to let him know how his staff was just exceptional and Kia should be proud to have them in their dealership. I've have worked in dealerships for several years and held several positions including doing warranty for the service departments so I know the reputation that is attached to dealerships are not the best. This dealership gives new meaning to honesty and striving to satisfy the customer. So big thank you to LARRY, TODD, SEAN & REESE. P.S. I only been living in Florida for 4 months so happy to have encountered Ken Ganley Kia. More
Recently we were shopping for a new Kia and met Peter (Sales) and Skye (Finance) and due to their professionalism and personalities we were impressed and purchased the car, Due to an external issue with (Sales) and Skye (Finance) and due to their professionalism and personalities we were impressed and purchased the car, Due to an external issue with the car a part was needing replacement and a couple of weeks later Jennie called us from the Service Department and an appointment was scheduled for us to bring in the car (with a wait time quoted for about an hour). I drove to the dealership (little over an hour) and when I arrived the service drive was full of vehicles and the driver of the vehicle in front of me said he had been there for about 40 minutes and a "kid" checked him in and left him with the car. I waited for about 10 minutes and was checked in by the "kid", who stated Jennie was not there and I would have to check with another service advisor and see if they could help me. In entering the service area there was a lot of congestion, no service advisor available, customers standing around confused as to any viable procedure, and telling me the wait time was ridiculous. In trying to reach the Service Manager I was advised he was "not available". After arriving early for the appointment and waiting for about 50 minutes to have someone just talk to me I gave up and left. MY SUGGESTION - shop for a car at Ken Ganley Kia but go some where else for any service issues. We ended up contacting Kia and have contacted another dealership which offers loaners, Uber assistance, and manners. More
1030am appointment for engine light on, pulled into service lane. 2 1/2 hours later, my vehicle still in service lane. Not moved at all. Felt like they did not care at all.
