Sold me a 2016 Hyundai Sonata with a known design flaw that results in the brakes failing in cold temperatures (camshaft position sensor, results in the car burning oil and brake failure). After I managed that results in the brakes failing in cold temperatures (camshaft position sensor, results in the car burning oil and brake failure). After I managed to push my car home when the brakes failed without warning on the way to work, I called the dealership who quoted me $1200+ to repair and 3 month wait time because this part tends to foul on many Hyundai cars in the winter, resulting in a backorder. Was informed that a loaner vehicle would not be covered for the 3 months while my car was out of service. I had to take it to a third party mechanic to get the vehicle repaired and ended up paying ~$800 to repair the issue. Now as a result of the recent TikTok "Kia/Hyundai Challenge", my car is vulnerable to theft using a USB cord and screwdriver, and thefts of several similar vehicles have occurred in my neighborhood. Ganley is offering kits to repair the security flaw but is charging $120 for the kits and $500 for labor. Highly recommend not purchasing from Ganley. My car from them has been nothing but trouble from known design, safety, and security flaws that required a large time and money commitment. They are fantastic at selling you a car up front even when they are aware of a design flaw that can result in brake failure and are not accountable when the cars they sell are victim to a major security flaw. Complete lack of ethical accountability for their products. Would give 0 stars if I could. More
