Let’s get into this service review. 1 star is gracious. I currently lease a 2020 Tiguan purchased from this dealership. It’s been a problem from the beginning but more recently as o 1 star is gracious. I currently lease a 2020 Tiguan purchased from this dealership. It’s been a problem from the beginning but more recently as of November 2022 I had a consistent problem with the check engine light coming on. I had a part fixed early December 2022 that i was told would fix the check engine light. My check engine light came back on again a few days later. Eventually on 12/19/22 they gave me a loaner to fix the issue. I didn’t get my car back until 1/6/23 and they said they fixed the same part … twice. My check engine came back on 1/9/23 and when i took it in the next day they said it was a valve that needed to be replaced. Valve was replaced on 1/13 and check engine came back on the next day. I took the vehicle back to service on 1/16/23 and was given a loaner and told they’d call me the same evening with an update. I never received an update- instead my car was driven around the next two days in cuyahoga falls/Akron without my knowledge running up almost 200 miles on my lease. AGAIN WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE. My vehicle wasn’t returned until I left a voicemail with my service advisor Daniel for an update like they promised. I NEVER RECEIVED AN UPDATE. Instead i called back nearly 3 weeks later for an update and was told they needed to get clearance from VW to remove the gasket for carbon build up and there wasn’t an eta on when my car would be completed but not to worry because it was under warranty and he’d keep me in the loop, weekly. This was on 2/2/23, I NEVER RECEIVED ANOTHER UPDATE FROM HIM. I called VW and until they reached out to The dealership we couldn’t get in contact with anyone about my car. Eventually my husband talked to Service Director, Aaron. Who told us the service advisor quit and that’s why i hadn’t received an update and wasn’t aware of the situation with my vehicle and also clearly stated MY VEHICLE SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN DRIVEN WITHOUT MY CONSENT, we requested a good grace payment as to the situation and being that we hadn’t had the car in months he said he’d look into it and call us back. HE NEVER DID! Eventually we received a call from service advisor Mike and he advised my car would be able to be worked on the week of 2/20/23. And that updates would be provided. NONE HAVE BEEN PROVIDED! Instead VW corporate emails me to let me know my vehicle should be completed by 2/27. I KID YOU NOT WE WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP 2/25 and they stated the tech who was working on my car quit and as of today 2/27 there’s no eta on when my car will be completed, as well as AARON STATING THEIR GOOD GRACE IS NOT MAKING US PAY FOR THE SERVICE SINCE ITS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY , something I had already been told was covered. Between 12/19/22 and today 2/27/23 I’ve had my car 10 days! My car has been sitting! And I’ve been paying a Carnote on a vehicle they refuse to fix! They don’t return calls, and they are grimy individuals! Who was driving my car in Akron to Dairy Queen and Chipotle? I WOULD NEVER IN MY LIFE RECOMMEND A VW OR THIS DEALERSHIP TO ANYONE! More

They were all about selling me a car. The car was recalled the next day and put on a do not sell list. There was and still hasn’t been any contact from the dealership. I purchased my 2021 Tiguan back in January. It was my 3rd VW from Ganley VW of Bedford. I enjoyed working with Bailey and Joe they were both friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this dealership Th VW from Ganley VW of Bedford. I enjoyed working with Bailey and Joe they were both friendly and knowledgeable. I'm an Army veteran and a hard working father with two little girls under the age of five! This law firm got a judgement for $22,000 more than the Original $16,000 I actually paid for the MINI ($38,000 for a MINI!) I had a six year loan and the MINI blew the motor with only 78,000 miles after I put a new water pump in ever year for three years! What car needs a water pump every year for three years? I called Ganley and the manager said "Don't worry we will take care of you!" Ganley also bait and switched me with a predatory 21% loan after telling me to take the car home for a week and try it out! BUYER BEWARE! Ganley you and Greg Love know how to contact me! There's a reason all Ganley dealerships in North East Ohio have a bad name! Rebuttal: I'm now bringing this up because the finance company came after me and garnished my wages for the piece of junk car that Ganley sold me. I was never late on a single payment until the lemon you sold me, had a motor blow! More
I purchased a 2020 Tiguan last May. While the salesman was helpful and got me an SUV, it’s not what I expected. First he “chose” my vehicle, and not sold me the same. Model or the model I test drive. Not knowing if I switched or requested another vehicle if it would have impacted my sake, I left. I didn’t realize until I got home that the vehicle had no features the one I test drove did. Vehicle is sufficient. Sound system is below average, power is below average. Now fast forward to the first December snowfall. I’m in Home Depot and had to get pushed out the parking space. That’s when I realized I had a 2WD vehicle, which I never would have purchased. About a month ago, with the last snow fall, again, stuck in a parking lot. I hate to rock my vehicle out. I expressed my frustration with Volkswagen Customer Care, who submitted a complaint to the dealer. After getting no response, I stop up and speak to a “sales manager “, last name Gillum. I asked for the owner or someone beyond him. Not the owner, but the top guy? So, my insult meter is ticking. Explaining my situation , the only response I got is, “ never received a complaint “, salesman who never responded to my Dec 28,2020 email about being stuck was a part timer now, (So I guess that’s my problem?), and unless something is wrong with the vehicle, really nothing we can do. No concern for my issue, no investigation into why I had gotten stuck in a xxxx parking lot, TWICE. Clearly, something is wrong with this vehicle. As an officer, I’ve seen a lot of things, and people playing on others is common. I’m just another customer now. I value my dealership and have stood by Ganley, but this recent treatment may definitely change that. I can’t support a business “too busy”, for my concerns. More
