I have always had good experiences at Ganley VW Bedford. I have bought three cars there now. The most recent was a certified pre-owned VW Golf. My salesman, Joe Walker, was a strong part of the experience. He moved the process along quickly and fairly. He was very helpful in orienting me to my new car. That’s important these days because cars have a lot of complicated electronic features. Joe has also made several post sale contacts to be sure that all is well with the new car. More

Oil change...2 hours later My experience was not good...I called to see if you do Oil Changes on Saturday, they wanted to put me on hold, I asked if I could ask a quick question My experience was not good...I called to see if you do Oil Changes on Saturday, they wanted to put me on hold, I asked if I could ask a quick question, then asked about Saturday oil change...person was exasperated that I did not just go on hold, even though it was a 15 second transaction. I arrived asked after check in how long it would take, they stated 1 hour. Approaching 2 hours waiting, I was given a list of "risky" items I should address. Given that I was there longer than expected with no communication until then, I said I did not have time to go thru with the recommendations. One of which was Tire Rotation, which was actually part of the original service with Oil Change. I asked if it was done, they checked and it was not completed, although it was the first line of the service order. I probably would have had the other work done if I was told sooner. It was a negative experience, I walked away unsure of the quality of the work, given the lack of ability to follow simple instructions on the service order. It was a turning point in my desire to do business with the dealership, which I have been a loyal Ganley client for years. More
