I was met by Nicole when I walked in the door. I'm 75 years old and look like I'm 150. Just Kidding. She showed me some cars on the floor. I told her that I wanted all of the features that I had on my current model. I Have all the bells and whistles on my car. I said I want the side view mirrors to fold in and warn me of any vehicles coming or going by my side. She said that this model does not have those options. Period. She could have said that those options are available. Of course you have to pay extra for what ever you buy if it has additional features. When I went home I looked up the options that are available on Subaru. She may have thought that I could not afford that. My credit score is 800+. Obviously I had those options on the vehicle that I brought in. I decided that I was not going to do business with someone that misled me. When I came in I said that I have changed my mind about buying that car. She apologized and said that we miss communicated and that she has the car that I want in the back lot. She could have said that when I said that I want those options. Yes I have that in the back of the dealership but it cost a little bit more. Not a big deal. I'm 75 years old. I have been in sales all of my life. I understand that some sales people take a short cut and want a "for sure sale". The successful sales person is always honest. Give the customer what he wants. Let him decide if he wants to pay extra. It is the customers choice not the sales persons choice. She almost lost a sale. I drove the vehicle that I wanted with all of the options. On the way home I heard the wind as I was driving on Lorain Ave. like I had a window open. The second day I had the car I had to go east on I-480 at 60 miles an hour. The wind noise was very loud. When I got to my destination I called the service department. they set a time for me to come in and have this looked at. I told him that if this is not fixed I want a different car. He said that it can be fixed for sure. That remains to be seen. When you drive a new car off the lot you want to be happy that you bought something great. I'm disappointed at this stage. Please find a remedy for this situation. More
