Let me start by saying that anyone from the public can click on my profile and review history and only see positive reviews. I believe in spreading good energy, not negative. I am not a keyboard warrior b click on my profile and review history and only see positive reviews. I believe in spreading good energy, not negative. I am not a keyboard warrior but after several emails and phone calls with no results, Ken Garff Fort Collins "Service" has brought me to this point. At first, it was all good. My charging port hatch on my electric car broke and would not close. I went in to the dealership to show them the issue and schedule service. They told me they could get me a loaner car, order the part, and have me fixed up the following week. Perfect! On that scheduled day, I took the morning off of work and showed up for my appointment. I was checked in and asked to wait in the waiting room for my loaner car. After waiting about 15 minutes, the associate came out and told me that not only did they not have a loaner car for me, but the part was never ordered. That is frustrating and disappointing, but things happen. I was told they would order the part and call me for service the next week. After not hearing any communication for the next couple of weeks, I emailed twice through their website form with absolutely no response. I then entered the phone phase. I called on 6/17 and was put on hold, then hung up on. I called again and the same thing happened. Again, giving the benefit of doubt, I waited until today, 6/18 to call again. No one in parts or service seems to know what is going on at this point. I am back to square one. I would go elsewhere but need to check my warranty information since my vehicle was purchased here. But here I am 3 weeks later, driving around with tape all over my 2023 car and absolutely no communication or help. Where is the customer service? Where is the initiative to help out a customer that switched from Subaru to Ford? After reading other low reviews, I am getting the true sense of KGF. And no, Gary, I don't want your generic response for other low reviews: "We're sorry to hear about your experience. Please contact us directly to discuss this further. Thank you. Gary Wahlberg, Service Manager garyw@kengarff.com". I have tried repeatedly. I want you to call me to explain what is going on. Am I being unreasonable here? Am I seeing red due to frustration and not considering your side? I am throwing you plenty of olive branches here. I am in customer service myself and all customers want it communication and culpability. More
Ken Garff is the absolute worst dealership I have encountered in my 30 years of buying cars. I had problems the moment after I signed the paperwork. I had asked specifically to the salesperson about encountered in my 30 years of buying cars. I had problems the moment after I signed the paperwork. I had asked specifically to the salesperson about 2 sets of keys for the vehicle bc they had asked me if my trade in had two sets of fobs. I was told yes, but then immediately after purchase the second set of keys could not be found. There was no attempt to rectify the situation and even worse they offered a warranty product for $800+ dollars to replace the key. This is where is gets even worse. I was in a weird spot with out a second set of keys so caved and purchased the warranty. I also purchased a drivetrain warranty and window and clearcoat package. I ended up wanting to cancel the drivetrain warranty and for some reason they cancelled the key and wheel package as well. I believe this was done bc they 'gave me a deal' for buying both and when I cancelled the larger warranty they also cancelled the smaller one that was discounted so they didn't lose money. This was just the beginning of the nightmare really. As part of the package they were to coat the windshield and also ceramic coat the vehicle. I dropped the truck off at the dealership and 2 hours later they called and said it was done. When I arrived the truck was completely dirty and not even washed let alone ceramic coated. The truck had been moved so it wasn't that they completely forgot but someone actually got in it and moved it and did not notice it was completely dirty and not serviced. The third time I was directly lied to. Then after about a month of driving (800 miles) the vehicle the change engine oil soon warning came on. This was really odd bc the vehicle checklist that I went over with the salesman stated they changed the oil. I thought maybe the just forgot to reset the oil warning so I checked the oil and it was black. They absolutely did not change the oil but stated that they did. Lied to for the forth time on one transaction! I think even more frustrating is that the answers I get from anyone I talk to is 'I am sorry to hear that but there is nothing I can do'. It seems very easy to me to provide the services promised at the very least. I will not be using this dealership or any of their other dealerships in the future and will be sure to tell everyone I know to stay away from their lies and shady business practices. I hope this review helps someone else avoid this hassle. More
I was skeptical buying a used car at this dealership based on some reviews, however, I must say that my experience was fantastic. My sales rep Felipe was phenomenal from the greeting to the final handsh based on some reviews, however, I must say that my experience was fantastic. My sales rep Felipe was phenomenal from the greeting to the final handshake. He showed me three cars that I liked and took me out to test drive them and was very calm, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. No pressure tactics. He even came in on his day off so we can finalize the deal on a day that was more convenient for my girlfriend and I. If you're going to buy a car at Ken Garff Ford, Make sure to go see Felipe. You will not be disappointed! I felt I got a good deal on a low mile car and Scott and financing was very pleasant as well. More
This buying experience was beyond anything we could have dreamed of after living for too many years in the Northeast where car buying is generally a particular agony. Felipe was very helpful in explaining dreamed of after living for too many years in the Northeast where car buying is generally a particular agony. Felipe was very helpful in explaining the various steps in purchasing, the entire staff was friendly, helpful and generous with their time. And we love the Subaru! Thanks to all the Ken Garff family. I purchased a used car from this dealership in March 2024. Their tactics were slimy and underhanded just to get a couple of extra bucks. They were unresponsive and flat-out lied. They messed up the titl 2024. Their tactics were slimy and underhanded just to get a couple of extra bucks. They were unresponsive and flat-out lied. They messed up the title, and it took three months to get the extra key they promised (in writing). Unfortunately, I am in the market for another car because the one I bought at Ken Garff was totaled - guess where I won't be going to buy another car? More
I bought a new (ordered) Ranger & that went OK except for the unending salesman attempts to apply unnecessary addons. The one thing I didn't get from Ford was a hitch. I ordered a hitch through parts & broug the unending salesman attempts to apply unnecessary addons. The one thing I didn't get from Ford was a hitch. I ordered a hitch through parts & brought the car back for installation. After 3 days (and taking off the back bumper) it was still not installed. I asked them to put back the parts & went over to a bike rack store (Rack Attack) and they installed the receiver hitch in 1 hour (after all, it only requires 4 screws into the frame which are already predrilled). Being a slow learner, I returned for some simple warranty work yesterday and they said they needed the truck for 2-3 days just for "diagnosis" then I would be asked to return for repair. Don't they realize we have a vehicle BC we need it to get around? Anyway I left, never to return. I would rather pay for this myself or travel to a more distant dealership (eg, Loveland Ford). I only hope they leave Ft Collins and are replaced by someone who believes in service. A long time Ford guy, it may be enough for me to go to GM for my next truck. More
Beware of this dealership! I bought a 2016 MKX on 7/27/24. Found a transmission leak 2 weeks ago. I live about 2.5 hours from FC so I took my car to a local Ford dealer near me I bought a 2016 MKX on 7/27/24. Found a transmission leak 2 weeks ago. I live about 2.5 hours from FC so I took my car to a local Ford dealer near me. It was diagnosed with a couple seal leaks. Kornerstone warranty company claimed it was a pre-existing condition and won’t cover the repairs. The windshield on the car has 2 cracks in it. My salesman said they would fix or replace the windshield. Now they claim they can’t find anyone in my area to replace the windshield. I have contacted my salesman, John Meer several times. I have also contacted the dealership several times. I have left several messages. I even spoke with someone in service and he said he would have someone call me back. This has been the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. After reading all the other bad reviews, it is evident this dealership is shady. Lots of unhappy customers! How are they still even in business. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau regarding this dealership. Definitely steer clear of Ken Garff of Fort Collins. More
Wow no wonder they are 1. 7 stars.... DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Not only are they unprofessional but they actually broke the law when working with our car. NOTE: They are ignori 7 stars.... DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Not only are they unprofessional but they actually broke the law when working with our car. NOTE: They are ignoring all emails and calls to fix it. I even got Ken Garff corporate involved but they refused to make it right as well. They did almost $8,000 worth of work on our car WITHOUT approval and never gave us an estimate. (this is against the law...) After the UNAPPROVED work was finished, they forced us to pay in order to get our car back. Since we were from out of town and traveling with a 6 month old baby, we had no choice but to pay it in order to get home. Not only is this terrible customer service but it's actually illegal. I am shocked that a place like this is still up and running it's a disgrace. People involved in this were: Blake & Luis. More

Do NOT take your car in for service at this dealership. Beware of Blake Harwell as well. Over the past year, I have had my 2019 Ford Fusion in for a check engine light three times. All three times, they ha Beware of Blake Harwell as well. Over the past year, I have had my 2019 Ford Fusion in for a check engine light three times. All three times, they had my car for a minimum of a week. They charged me $1400 the first time, only for the CEL to come on again. The second time, they didn't charge me, but it came on again. The third time, they had it for a week, and they replaced the Air Filter, and said it is fixed. When I got the car home, the CEL came on again. I left multiple phone messages for Blake, and he never returned my call once. He eventually texted me and said he was busy. I have a code reader and have sent Blake messages w/ the code. He will not return my calls or my texts now, and it has been over a week. He said that he would get back to me and have the original technician check out the car for the fourth time!?!? The technicians obviously don't know what they are doing, and they don't know how to use a code reader. I wish I could receive a return call or text and at least have them tell me they are sorry and clueless and can't read the code for the CEL. Who knows? I would avoid this dealership and the service department at all costs! Run if you see Blake's name on your receipt. More
