Th I've had a couple experiences with Spradely Barr Ford... I've bought a new car there and a new truck. I have zero complaints on the sales side. They were always very friendly, gave me a decent deal, made sure all my concerns were dealt with etc. Overall (obviously) I would go back to buy a car. Both times I had Jim Dockery as a sales agent, and I've dealt with both Deb and Scott in Finance. All of them are super friendly and super helpful. Their service department is the xxxxs though.. I've had more trouble with their service department than I can count. For instance, when I bought my truck I paid to have the bed liner put in.. I was told I would get a call in 3 days from service to schedule. Never got the call. A week later I called them, and the guy tells me he is too busy to deal with me and I will have to call back.. OKAAAYYY.. So I call back the next day, after a bunch of phone tag and horse hockey (then complaining) from me, they finally say bring it in the next day. The next day I show up bright and early, go into service and the guy literally starts telling me off because they are too busy to work in my truck and they don't have time for trivial crap like this because they are understaffed. I looked him straight in the eye and said, I personally don't care about your problems, I paid to have a liner put in, and I want the liner put in. He took the keys and told me it would be done by the end of the day. yeah right.. It took them two days, most of which my truck sat looking pretty right where I left it. I paid for the extended service plan (you know with the free oil changes) except every time I go there they tell me they are too busy to do it and I have to come back. So I gave up, don't buy that they obviously have no intention of actually honoring it. In my past (in my older) truck I had a problem with I took it in to have a diagnostic on it... They told me bad alternator and then quoted the most ridiculous price ever. So I said no thanks and paid them $50 for the diagnostic (including readings of voltage along all the wires) so I took it home and put a new alternator in myself.. Still broken.. So I pulled out a fluke and started reading the voltages my self.. Sure as xxxx there was a blown wire right where these guys said they had read a voltage (that could not have been there). It was pretty obvious they did jack xxxx but tell me it was a bad alternator and charge me $50. In there defense, when I complained they did refund the price of the $50 plus the cost of the alternator, but it really makes me wonder what happens with the tons of other people that go through having no idea what is wrong. It is just shady. More
Walked in and tried to buy a Mazda CX-9 I walked into the store and wanted to purchase a CX-9. The best price one salesman gave me is $800 less than the MSRP. This discount already included I walked into the store and wanted to purchase a CX-9. The best price one salesman gave me is $800 less than the MSRP. This discount already included hail damage insurance. Such price is far more higher than prices other dealers gave to me, usually $5,000 less then MSRP. The worse thing was that the salesman told me the MSRP price is the invoice price. When I argued that MSRP is not the invoice, the salesman got rude. I felt very bad about this as he and his manager were trying to fool me. I really do not suggest buying cars there. More

If you know the true value of the car, they do not respect that and keep it much higher just to benefit them. I kid you not, they sold me a totaled car. My insurance company took a look at it and sure enough, it is TOTALED!! I will try and see what the dealer will do, but regardless they screwed me over and I will never be going back. If I could stop everyone from walking inside Spradley Barr, I would. Never buy from them!!!!!! More

(If I knew about this website I would have wrote a review sooner). 1st of all the show room represenitve was so kind. He showed us everything we wanted and made sure we were getting the best. One thing I really I will always remember... because not all business are so kind... I had just had my baby a week ago and the show room rep found me a closed office to breast feed my baby instead of making me go to the bathroom to feed her. That just show how great this paticular rep was/is. As far as our vue goes, the only thing we have had to do (except oil and wiper and fluid changes) was replace the battery but that was just recently and it was 6 years old. They sold us a great car and gave us great and memorble service! Five star!! More

I "purchased" a 2007 Subaru Tribeca last week that KBBd for 14000 they had it on the lot for 16995. It had 92k miles. I kept telling them the price wasn't right so they were adding more onto my trade in to "even it out". I felt bad about it but, I am in a position to where I need something reliable for my children and work. At first dealing with the Randy was great because, he didn't make me feel like xxxx of the earth. I really have nothing to say about him because, he is honest and nice. Well, the day we went to buy the car he wasn't in and I dealt with a bone head. We negotiated for what seemed like eternity and I got the whole car salesman " This is the good part" blah blah blah. Well, a week later after my trade in has ALREADY BEEN ON THE LOT FOR SALE I am told I need to come in with 2500 more $ or the deals off. My kids and I love the subaru and I am pretty darn MAD. I could say a DAY or two but, a WEEK!?!!?!?! Really!?!?!!! this is a game dealerships play. They let you take the vehicle home with you believing that they have you financed. Then after about a week, they contact you to tell you that you were not approved for finance for a reason of your trade was not worth it, or the bank says down pmt isn't enough. I said I wanted to stay at 300.00 for payments... They even got the last punch saying 308 would be all they can budge! REALLY 8.00!!?!?! They are gambling on the thought of ME LOVING the vehicle and not wanting to bring it back. They are gambling on the thought that I will pony up the extra (difference of value) money to save face/embarrassment of having to bring a vehicle back. This dealership is crooked and shady and does not deserve my $$. More
