My wife and I have just completed our second new vehicle purchase in the last 9 months from Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins with sales person Nick Carestia. Our first purchase was a new 2010 escape, and purchase in the last 9 months from Spradley Barr Ford in Fort Collins with sales person Nick Carestia. Our first purchase was a new 2010 escape, and the second was a new 2010 F150 Lariat. Working with the Spradley Barr team was a pleasure. Nick was always professional, working with us to help us understand the options available and never pressured us to make a decision on the spot. Especially with the F150 purchase, Nick took a lot of time with me during our decision process. After the purchase, Nick spent a considerable amount of time explaining all the vehicle functions and warranty information and never seemed rushed eventhough he had already made the sale. After the sale, we met with the business office and that also was a pleasurable experience. No pressure there either to purchase options but listened to all our questions and took all the time necessary for our discussion. Overall a pleasure to work with the Spradley Barr team and especially Nick Carestia - without a doubt, we will visit this team again for our future vehicle purchases. Great work guys........... More
It was horrible I bought a 2005 Mazda6 in there and traded in my dodge ram 2500. They lied about what the car was worth they told me it was a steal at $13,959 and I looked on Kelley Blue Book and NADA traded in my dodge ram 2500. They lied about what the car was worth they told me it was a steal at $13,959 and I looked on Kelley Blue Book and NADA three days after buying the car and it's only worth $11,000 retail in excelent condition which it's not. It needs a paint job because there are a bunch of scratches and there are several dents that has to be pulled out and there are burns on the seat. I guess my bad for not checking the cars worth before buying but I didn't think a dealer this large would straight up lie. They were very nice until I caught them in a lie and then they instantly became very rude. When I test drove the car the salesman was talking the whole time and kept the radio cranked up so that I could not hear the noises the car was making. Driving it home I heard a banging noise under the car and a popping in the front in. When I called them about the problem the sales manager was very rude he said "well I dont know what can be done but I guess bring it in and I will look at it." They decided to fix the unsafe car that my four month old daughter had been ridding in but it would take them a week to get the parts in. The sales manager assured me they would call me on TUESDAY AS SOON AS THE PARTS CAME IN. I finally had to call they late THURSDAY and they told me the parts had been in so bring it on down. I drove thirty miles to drop it off only for them to tell me that they couldn't get it in until the earliest of Friday. I made an appointment to bring it in at 8 only for them to tell me when I brought it in that I had to find something to do until 9:30. So we waited and I spoke to a sales manager again who was extreamly rude and was inturupting my sister and talking over her. She was there because obviously by this point i just wanted to hit all these people. In all I traded in a safe amazing truck for a peice of crap car in attempt to save money on gas. I guess I learned my lesson Spradley Barr Mazda in Fort Collins, Colorado will lie cheat and steal!!! And then will be rude to you when they get caught. More

He went out of his way to get a small scratch fixed on the hood of my new vehicle after I had purchased it, he gladly game me a loaner car to use while I waited. He always had a smile on his face and after numerous phone calls, never made me feel like a nuisance. I will gladly return for any future purchases and recommend him highly to anyone in the market for a new car. Thank You. More
My husband & I stopped in to look @ what they had as option pkgs on the 2011 Edges-when John showed us a used vehicle they had gotten in. We were not really looking to buy @ the time but the used vehic option pkgs on the 2011 Edges-when John showed us a used vehicle they had gotten in. We were not really looking to buy @ the time but the used vehicle was a great find and after playing around with the numbers decided to get it. The whole experience at Spradley Barr was great--but what I really want to comment on is the character of John. We had never met him before-he was just the salesman who happened to pick us up. He was very friendly, knowledgable and polite, as a lot of salesman are but the 1 quality that stood out was he was HONEST. In the process of test driving the vehicle and negotiating etc everyone thought the vehicle had a feature on it, that after we got it home and tried to program it, was not there. We called John thinking it was operator error, and to have him talk us through it, but nope the vehicle really did not have the option. John admitted that he thought it had it, that being the "Limited" it should have and appologized for the miscommunication and he made it right. As many of you know, that is usually not the case--usually it is your word against the salesman-and they say they never told you that, etc--not the case with John. John stepped rightup and took responsibility period. I would recommend John, and I would go back to him in the future. Napoleon, the finance guy was great also--very fun to work with. John was in contact with us all the time, either by email or phone, with our new purchase. We never felt we were just another "joe" looking for a new vehicle. The reason why we (my wife and me) chose to do business with Spradley Ford of Fort Collins, was becaus of one employee. This employee is Dave Vonde. We bought a 2009 Ford F-150 Platinum truck from this dea with Spradley Ford of Fort Collins, was becaus of one employee. This employee is Dave Vonde. We bought a 2009 Ford F-150 Platinum truck from this dealership in 2009 and found that he was the only salesperson in this try state area of Wyoming, Colorado and Nebraska that inspired our confidence enough to buy another vehicle this year. This individual demonstrated the following terrific characteristics. 1. He was very courteous and was very knowledgable of his products. 2. He showed experience in his conversation and his approach to customer relatiions. 3. He showed sincerity of purpose in his salesmenship. 4. His demeanor was trustworthy and not pushy. 5. He listened quite well to our specifications and led us to the proper vehicle for our needs. 6. He was very competent in describing financial issues. One of the reasons we returned to purchase another vehicle from this dealership was the fine and concerned salesmenship that Dave Exhibited. We were pleasantly grateful to see that Dave was there to help us choose our 2011 Lariat 350 Diesel Truck. I enjoyed how Dave led us in discovering all of the anemities of the vehicles that we considered. We had visited other dealerships and found that Dave was the most trustworhy salesperson we met. In summation: Dave was a good portion of our decision to buy Ford again. Dave Vonde is a credit to the Ford organization and believe he deserves great recognition for his dedication to his customers needs. Any problems we might have had weather large or small were handled by Dave quickly and efficiently. We feel we now have a friend in the Ford Motor Company. More
I'm pleased with the entire buying experience at Spradley Barr Ford. Previous experiences with other dealerships have been very frustrating in that they often start with a request for my phone numbers, conti Barr Ford. Previous experiences with other dealerships have been very frustrating in that they often start with a request for my phone numbers, continue with persistent questioning on my "readiness to buy" and end with unwelcome follow up phone calls offering vehicles I'm not interested in and generally pressuring me to do business. My experience with Spradley Barr Ford was much different. I have bought seven used vehicles in the past five years and perhaps with the exception of one from a Porsche dealer in Colorado Springs, this purchase was the easiest. I very much appreciate the fast turnaround on my on-line request for quote and John Fischer's quick response with a quote for my trade-in was great. When a last minute problem with my trade threatened the transaction, John put my mind at ease and we worked through it with little fanfare. John also made sure the vehicle I wanted would be available for a test drive in the very narrow window I had for a trip from Denver to Ft Collins. I am the kind of buyer who does the research up front. I know what I want, I search for it online and I act quickly when I find it. The only negative feedback I'd give Spradley Barr is that when I initially saw the vehicle I eventually purchased on Craigslist, I called and was told it had already been sold. Only after I saw the Craigslist ad refreshed did I give it a second try. Had I found what I wanted elsewhere in the meantime, SBF would have lost the sale. Also, I thought the initial price quote was great but I was not expecting the extra $499 dealer handling fee. Suggestion--include the dealer handling fee in the online quote. All in all I really appreciate the way John (and the closer, Napoleon) handled the transaction. Thanks, guys and I hope the way you do business serves you well. todd fenimore More
My salesman was great! Since my commute to the dealership was 225 miles, I really appreciated all the work he did to make sure things were in order when I arrived. He called to 'check in' with me in the mont was 225 miles, I really appreciated all the work he did to make sure things were in order when I arrived. He called to 'check in' with me in the months before I was scheduled to return my lease. During the process, he was patient, knowledgeable, extremely customer centered, and very personable. The only draw back to the experience was the length of time it took. After car/price/etc. had been agreed to, it took too long to finish out (almost 3 hours)- which is the ONLY reason the Overall Experience was a 3. I look forward to working with Brian Willson in the future. More
Brain Willson was exceptional to work with, he explained his answers to my questions very well. The team over there was very helpful and knowledgeable. They didn't use scare tactics to get my sale, they w his answers to my questions very well. The team over there was very helpful and knowledgeable. They didn't use scare tactics to get my sale, they worked with what I could afford and that's rare in todays world that is why I give them a high rating. Thanks again, Michelle Brooks More
