Horrendous experience I was looking to trade in my F150. I was considering a Chevy but I had already worked out some numbers on getting a Toyota Tacoma with Avondale Toyota I was looking to trade in my F150. I was considering a Chevy but I had already worked out some numbers on getting a Toyota Tacoma with Avondale Toyota. I informed the sales rep at Gateway that I already had a trade offer of $35,000 for my F150 but wanted to see if I could get into a Silverado 1500. I had my wife and 3 small kids with. We look at trucks, then go into the office where he had us sit for an hour and a half while he "gets with his manager". An hour and a half! Then comes out offering me $27,000 for my F150. And that is fine if that is your offer but you want to have a family sitting there for almost 2 hrs while you know exactly what I already had on the table. I drive by that place and don't even want to look at that place. And then they have all their sales team in this room talking about their sales. It's like Boiler Room in there! More
