This was easily the best experience I've ever had buying a car. went to ken garff honda downtown in may, spoke with garth he was very understanding and knew exactly what i wanted. two days later bought a 2007 honda accord from garth. on oct 30th got in a bad car accident he was very understanding and knew exactly what i wanted. two days later bought a 2007 honda accord from garth. on oct 30th got in a bad car accident that totaled my car. that i walked away with a couple of bruises and a sore back. got a voicmail from garth telling me he heard i got in an accident and was hoping i was ok. on dec 11th i went back to ken garff honda and told garth about what happened and told him about my situation (i also had a baby on nov 21st) so budget was really tight this time around. i was looking at a 2009 nissan altima 2.5s that was in my price range. informed garth i would have to give it some thought. he was patient and willing to let me think about it. came back on dec 13th and garth was not there i found out his kid was sick that morning and had brandon taking care of me that day. i knew brandon from before and he was very good at what he does. (knowing that garth was gone for the reason of a sick child, made me have more respect for ken garff honda and making me more wanting to work with them, since i had my son on nov 21st i know the importance of family and taking care of your kids) brandon was awesome helping us close the deal and getting me into the car i wanted. i have had problems with america worst before and chris was very helpfull in finding the right credit union to go through with a great rate. More

Scott Layton has been excellant to work with. Always the professionsl by calling through out taking time to help with any issues. Adam has been terrific as well, whenever I show up at service he greats me professionsl by calling through out taking time to help with any issues. I always feel that my service will be done as needed and the car returned with wash. Too bad about your losing Slater, I really enjoyed dealing with him when I had my 2006 Ridgeline, just the simple things he did I noticed. I have purchase 3 Hondas from Ken Garff starting back in 1976-77 with a CVCC, many other brands have come and gone out of my driveway, and as of the last couple of years a 2009 Honda Fit Sport. Driving the Fit is just plain fun and the mileage is terrific with well over 40 MPG. as for the why reccomend this dealership the overall experience has been very good. I am concerned now with the management changes in sales that you have lost the reason and focus for selling Hondas. Others I know said it now is like any outher "mouse House" dealership. They went else where to look since they had been down south for the Spader shafting. More
I had heard that Ken Garff Honda Downtown was known for their great customer service. They were right! Mark Mamulski (sales consultant) was very nice and helpful even after I bought my car and had questio their great customer service. They were right! Everyone (including the service department) was very nice and did what they could to find the answers to my questions. Customer service isn't what it used to be no matter where you go. It's as if "customer service" doesn't exist anymore. Not true at Ken Garff Honda Downtown. THANK YOU to everyone who helped make my car buying experience a pleasant one! More
We had been to a couple of dealers looking for a good used car. After we met Trevor we knew we had found someone we could trust to help us find a reliable car for the best possible price. We felt Trevor went above and beyond to ensure that the car we purchased looked almost new. The ride was a little rough on the freeway and Trevor had the mechanics make a few adjustments and the car has driven like a dream ever since. We saw the car in the evening and by noon the next day it was delivered in perfect condition. Thank you Trevor!!!! More

This dealership only affirms the general opinion that car salesmen are the scum of earth. I got a great base price on my vehicle from an auto purchasing program but then the dealership totally gouged me on salesmen are the scum of earth. They first tried to charge me $1,100 for side steps that can be purchased on the internet for $500 then would not come down from $900, saying I was getting them "at cost". When I went to sign the final paperwork there was a $150 charge for "door edge guards". After getting home I looked at the doors and found that they simply had a 1/2" strip of clear vinyl tape on them. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! More
My appointment was 2:00 p.m.,July, 27th, 2010, I drove 220 miles to do so (my choice). I was greeted and set up for test drive by Taylor J.,with whom all my correspondance had taken place with.Upon my return for unexplained reasons I was handed off to Garth, and 5 minutes later to Kris, who informed me Taylor had given me an incorrect price. ($18,089) for a 2010 Honda EX, civic.After some backroom paper shuffling I was told that they would honor the price for the remainder of the day, BUUUUUUT, not at the .09% that I had informed Mr. Taylor that I needed in a previous contact.To get that car would have to be sold at a higher price. Honda's incentive program dealing with the .09% financing clearly states, the dealer sets the sales prices,so what,s up with that? To listen to the sales people they are paying you to take their cars, makes you wonder how they survive. Paul Jeannotte More
