I’ve been using this dealership for service since 2009, but this last visit was awful, and I don’t intend to return there. It really has gone downhill. I drop my car off, and they no longer offer Lyft or U but this last visit was awful, and I don’t intend to return there. It really has gone downhill. I drop my car off, and they no longer offer Lyft or Uber. I was told they had a shuttle, but he wouldn’t be there for 45 minutes. Then a guy walks out 15 minutes later and takes me home. They did a horrible job of communicating, and when I asked them to deliver my vehicle after it was serviced, the girl said she didn’t know if they could do it. Just FYI, Honda will now pick up your car and bring it back after it is serviced. The girl never got back to me about delivering my car back. Long story short, I get a phone call that afternoon saying that the shuttle is outside my door waiting for me! Two guys from Honda were there to pick me up to bring me to Honda to get my car, yet they couldn’t just bring my car? To make things worse, I get back in my car and my tire pressure monitoring light is still on! They didn’t even bother to check the tires, that’s just pathetic. More
I had my 2017 pilot serviced there 4 times and twice I had to bring it back because of things they missed. Once they didn't rotate my tires that was part of my service package. ( I have proof it wasn't do had to bring it back because of things they missed. Once they didn't rotate my tires that was part of my service package. ( I have proof it wasn't done ) The second time they never reset the service soon indicator after service. The indicator came on 3 days after it was services. Now I wonder if my oil and filter got changed? did I get the 30K mile service I paid for? I have 2 more services I already paid for not sure if I want the headache of having to take it back 2 times to get what should have been done the first time. By the way they won't bring me home they say I live to far so I have to sit there and wait. Jiffy lube here I come More
Go and see Victor (Vic) Diaz. He helped me get my car and drove all the way from Menifee to do business. Definitely worth it and buying from Honda of the Desert. He helped me get my car and drove all the way from Menifee to do business. Definitely worth it and buying from Honda of the Desert. More

UPDATE TO MY REVIEW BELOW ABOUT THE >$45,000 CAR. Using a sports analogy: Honda of the Desert literally “snatched victory from the jaws of defeat”. My initial experiences with the firm had me turn Using a sports analogy: Honda of the Desert literally “snatched victory from the jaws of defeat”. My initial experiences with the firm had me turning my back and walking away. I don’t take these things lightly at all. I was literally on my way out (electronically; most of my experience was virtual) when Michael (Sales Manager) and Gil (General Manager) reached out. They explained that they understood the situation and why I felt as I did (“yeah, right” I thought…) and wanted to “make it right”. It took me a while and some more outreach from them, but I decided to give them a last chance. And I’m very glad I did! They truly did work to earn my business, starting from the point I’d gotten to and ready to walk, and worked with me to make things right, and turn the situation completely around. I really did come away feeling like they cared about my business and their reputation, and we were able to make the deal. What a turnaround! I very much recommend them for customers in SoCal and across the country. More
My visit was not excellent. When they were replacing the drive belt, the tensioner broke. They didn't have the part, and I had to drive with it until they had one in. I live in When they were replacing the drive belt, the tensioner broke. They didn't have the part, and I had to drive with it until they had one in. I live in the high desert and it's takes up my whole day to come in and get my car taken care of. On Friday, I called the number texted to me to make an appointment, but the lady said I didn't need an appointment. That didn't sound right, but she insisted that I could bring it in whenever and the mechanic who was working on it would take care of it because they would be more familiar with the case. I noted that I live a ways away, I'm a teacher with only one day a week I can possibly come in to get it fixed, don't want to waste my weekend to come down and not be able to get it fixed, and asked if she could at least check to see that the part was in. When I arrived at 1:50PM the next day (That was the earliest I could arrive because I had other weekend errands, and if I needed to be there early in the morning, the service lady I called SHOULD HAVE TOLD ME), the service advisor told me they were fully booked and that it was too late in the day and that it might be a job that takes a long time. I told him that I had tried to make an appointment and the woman had insisted that I didn't need to. He continued to tell me that he wasn't sure, intimated that I couldn't really expect them to do it today, and I reminded him that I had called to TRY to make an appointment, and he said, "Well, it goes to a call center. I wish I knew who you talked to, because I have a skeleton staff." I called the number that was texted me, and have no control over how Honda of the Desert communicates internally. I can't express how furious I am that I tried to make an appointment, was told I didn't need one and to "just bring it in" and now am told that they can't get me in--to fix what they broke on my car. I regret buying the three oil change services because I'd like to shop for a more reliable Honda service department, even if it means driving farther. I feel helpless trying to get damage to my car that they caused repaired, and angry about the unreliable communication. More
