Worst dealership ever. I took my F350 in for a cab swap "Standard Labor Time Standards" calls for 4 hours. Nearly a year later after a complaint to Ford Corporate I was tol I took my F350 in for a cab swap "Standard Labor Time Standards" calls for 4 hours. Nearly a year later after a complaint to Ford Corporate I was told it was done they knew I flew across the country and was picking up a moving trailer. Upon arrival the vehicle was not safe operating condition and they failed to provide required DMV vin forms and safety inspection forms rendering the vehicle uninsurable without a valid vin # Which left me stranded in Casino with a truck and trailer the DMV told me I could not operate without insurance. I was forced to abandon the truck/ new trailer and was told to sue then their Bond company Traverlers Insurance and Surity, seemed delighted to claim "our liability is only $5000" under a mechanics bond so sue Ford for the rest. Unfortunately for them this is a title claim on the dealers $100,000.00 bond. Now Travelers and Mesquite Ford have gone silent while being investigated by the DMV and Travelers Insurance by the Department of Insurance. The tech claimed my 2003 was "so old" he couldn't find wire diagrams. Failed to provide any written estimate. Truly utter incompetence. More
BAD EXPERIENCE. I called and made an 8:45 am appointment for an oil change and diagnostic check. I showed up on time and was assigned Dalene Hayes. Ms Hayes appeared I called and made an 8:45 am appointment for an oil change and diagnostic check. I showed up on time and was assigned Dalene Hayes. Ms Hayes appeared annoyed to have to deal with me and did not even say hello or look at me. Her only response to me was, "name?" She took my information and documented the issues I was having with my vehicle, During our entire conversation she was not pleasant or seemed the least bit interested in my concerns. At 1 pm, (over four hours later), I had not heard back from Ms Hayes and elected to text her regarding the status of my vehicle. Her response was that it had been assigned a tech, but still not had been looked at. I was shocked that after making an actual appointment that my vehicle was not completed, or even started. I asked her if the service department was too busy and if I should take my vehicle somewhere else. Her response was that she has no control over when a vehicle is looked at and I could do what I wished. It was clear to me that she didn't want to even try to get an ETA for a start time so I just told her that i would be there soon to pick it up. Once arriving back to the service department, Ms Hayes did not even acknowledge my presence or say anything to me. I just took my car keys from the desk and started to walk out. Just before exiting, Ms Hayes asked me if I would like to have the service string from my car keys removed. As I turn back to respond, she had this smirk on her face as if she thought this whole incident was funny. I have since shared my experience with folks on Nextdoor (Mesquite's social website) and have heard some interesting comments regarding similar experiences. In thinking back on today's events, and Ms Hayes entire attitude while dealing with me, I feel strongly that she deliberately lost my paperwork and never even turned it into a technician. I have been a Mesquite Ford customer for multiple years where my wife and I both take our vehicles to your dealership for service. I have never been treated with such disrespect and dealt with someone with such a poor attitude. Rudy Gonzales More

We broke down on the way to Brianhead and decided to go to this ford dealer. We can’t say enough about Marcus the service advisor who took us through the process. Newly retired, registered nurse bought an RV and my engine light came on. I was going through from Yellowstone traveling down to the West Coast for my first time and very discouraged to see my engine l engine light came on. I don't know how to heal a car and I had to go somewhere that I could trust. I went to the grocery store and everybody told me to go to Ford Ken Garrif dealership and they'll help you right out. I found it easily, drove right up met with the diesel mechanic Christian and immediately hooked me up to find my problem and was out of there within 30 minutes. When I went through salt lake City I saw Ken gariff we can help you all over poster boards up and down the highway from Yellowstone through salt lake City. I thought don't know much about that dealership but I do have work trucks but the new RV I had was not a Ford truck. I thought no way can they help me. Broke down in mesquite check engine light and that's where I had to go to get help. They treated me like I was part of the family. Alone and stressed and worried as well as discouraged. Christian the diesel mechanic and the management were awesome people. It was 112 that day and Christian did not have air conditioning in his garage all I can say is my guardian angels from Ken Gariff Ford in mesquite deserves air conditioning. You would have guessed they are the happiest people on that team. Friendly easy and cool-minded people. I was not taking advantage of and I observed nothing but professionalism. I had my Ford Escape towed into this dealership and had the best customer service experience I've ever had. BAD EXPERIENCE!!! Was told the loud buzzing in my car was a bad axle bearing. The part (a complete axle) needed to be ordered and the repair would be done in a few hours. The cost: $600. I said OK. A few hours later I got a call saying the noise was a "possible faulty bearing in the transmission" and they needed six shop hours to check it out. $810! - with no guarantees and no estimate of parts cost or labor to put everything back together. They did replace the axle and reduced the charge to $457. When I complained the buzzing was still present - as loud as ever - the service manager (who couldn't make the time to meet with me) told the service writer to refund the $457. The refund confirmed my suspicion the axle did not need replacing. If a bad axle bearing was misdiagnosed why would I spend another $800 plus for more misdiagnosis'. I was either lied to or the service department has a high degree of imcompetense. I wrote to the G.M. and the CEO of Garff Automotive. I was 'shined-on' by them just like the service manager. GARFF AUTOMOTIVE IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. More
Horrible Customer Service in a Time of Need Granted we've had one experience with them, but it was a time for them to shine and they really weren't impressive. We're travelling through when our van broke, and we were looking at purchasing a new vehicle to get home. We emailed in on a few vehicles, and granted we are on a low, tight budget, so not the most exciting for a salesman. Even so, not only was Dennis incredibly curt & unwelcoming in his replies, he showed absolutely no initiative in communicating with me, offering me options, thanking me for inquiring, acknowledging or asking about my needs, anything. I don't feel like I"m asking anything extraordinary, but simply to feel like someone cared that I wanted to do business with them. Never in our correspondence did I get even the hint that he cared about my business, cared about helping out my family, or cared that I was talking to him. I'm sure that he isn't the only associate, and I realize that this review stands in contrast to many others, but our experience in a time of need has been supremely underwhelming, and our customer service experience avidly lacking. He did offer to come pick up on with a vehicle that ultimately didn't work out, but even out phone call was short and awkward. While we haven't found a way home yet, we will be pursuing other options if this is the way people who inquire about doing business are treated. More

Great customer service I have an RV that I spent nearly a year trying to get repaired under warranty. As a fulltimer and traveling around the country, it was not at all pra I have an RV that I spent nearly a year trying to get repaired under warranty. As a fulltimer and traveling around the country, it was not at all practical to return to the dealer from which I bought my RV. So, I contacted numerous dealers in my travels and all basically told me that since I didn't purchase from them, they would not work on it. A couple of dealers said they might work on it, but I would have to leave it with no idea of when or even if the work would be done. Until I found Mesquite Ford. They were more than willing to tackle the work, and did so promptly and efficiently. They also did service on my Ford truck, and were just as pleasant to deal with for that as well. They genuinely seem to care about their customers and I would recommend them to anyone. More
