I scheduled an appointment online for an airbag recall because no one ever answered the phone when I called. I left messages but never received a call back, so making the appointment online was my only op because no one ever answered the phone when I called. I left messages but never received a call back, so making the appointment online was my only option. The online scheduling process never asked for my VIN number. I drove to the dealership for my scheduled appointment only to be told they had to order the recall part and that I would have to come back another day. It was frustrating to spend the time and gas driving there for an appointment that couldn’t actually be completed. If the VIN is needed to order recall parts, the online scheduling system should ask for it, or someone should contact the customer before the appointment. I do want to mention that Paul O., the service advisor, was very friendly and apologetic about this situation, and I appreciated how he handled it. My frustration is with the scheduling and communication process, not with him. I’m also in the market for a new vehicle, and this experience honestly made me think twice about doing business with this dealership. First impressions matter, and I left disappointed. I hope they improve their scheduling and communication, so future customers have a better experience. More
